Hi, What was all included in the price for the recon/rebuild? New bearings, syncro rings and magnet? I offer an overhaul service. I would need to price all bearings etc first, depending on what you want replaced. Thanks Gary
Also im sure the exhaust centre section mounting points on the body are in different locations on the n/a and turbo. Cant confirm this but im sure ive heard it on here before. Cant think of any other differences off the top of my head thou. Gary
Hi, For torqueing the head down you don't have to wait before continueing, just torque them all first then go over again with 44nm then go back over with the 90 degrees. Just make sure you tighten them down equally so the heads seats equally, start from the middle and work your way out evenly. As for the 90 degrees a handy tip is to put a Mark of tipex on each head bolt at the timing belt side of the bolt head then it's easier to determine when you are at 90 degrees unless you have a torque angle gauge Thanks Gary
Hi Guys just noticed this, I will be i touch with supplier asap as i want to get these made and available to customers asap. Bare with me, ill update as soon as i know anything Gary
Hi all, As alot of you are aware i provide a Genuine Toyota and Mitsubishi parts service to all members, and recently i have felt that i cannot manage to reply to some orders and really dont like to let members down but due to work commitments i am generally far to busy to get 5 mins to stop and reply. I was thinking of giving up the parts service and just continueing with the workshop side of things but after a think i have decided to keep it going and i have layed out a template for members to fill out to make the ordering process quicker and more efficient. If PM'ing or emailing for a qoute please fill in the below fields: Name (inc. username): Vehicle Details (inc. Chassis/frame number if possible): Delivery Address: Daytime Contact Number: Email Address: Part(s) Required: It may also be easier for members to email me at GBRMotorsport@yahoo.co.uk as it is more accessable and i can give quicker replies. Thanks for reading Gary

Ok cool, Only difference in heads is valve springs, I'm not sure what the n/a valve springs are up to but with the rev limits being different, not sure if the n/a valve springs will suffer float at the turbo 7.2k rev limit, maybe someone can confirm this Gary
Hi, Do you mean you are looking at putting an n/a head on your turbo engine or the other way round? As for the shims and buckets, the buckets are interchangeable between heads but the valve clearances will need checked/adjusted before starting the engine. You can order new shims through Toyota to suit the adjustment you need. And the caramel oil sounds like there is coolant in it from somewhere, could be a pipe on wrong or something wrong internally Hope this helps Gary
