  1. A GT would be a grand to insure when i get my 3 years. I would like to forge a GT but being at uni ....... i am poor and need something cheap to run Was tempted by a civic, but a VTI is even more to insure than a GT :/
  2. Right people (Please dont slate me) ! Im thinking of selling my saxo vtr and getting something jap again. Fed up of waiting for the next thing to go wrong! I already have a white SR which my bro is using, but i want something quit nippy and cheap to run/ tax and reliable! I have about 2k to spend, am 20 and will have 3 years no claims in may. Any suggestions! ?? thank you adam
  3. Bit of pain fitting them I had harnesses in my old SR and had to drill through the floor to fit eye bolts correctly. Spoke to an MOT tester and he said they must be on eye bolts otherwise it will fail an MOT I was wanting to do the same as you, but couldnt due to the above reason S: adam

    hello

Welcome mate the V looks very nice!
  8. Well my brother is learning to drive, soo the SR was ideal. After having a glanza and SR was just too much of a comedown speed wise, needed a car for uni and tbh the saxo fitted the bill perfect. Just always got something in the back of my mind that something is going to go wrong, and i miss the starlet reliabality Cant afford a glanza atm and the sr is just a touch to slow, but the S was like 100 brake wasnt it??
  9. Hi all Sure a while back I read a thread with some good details about the Glanza S? Cant seem to find it though , can anyone link me up to it Im debating whether to sell my VTR and get an "S". Got too much of a sttaret bug, been driving my bothers SR and I do miss them Cheers adam

  14. I do a lot of reading/ researching on insurance for my website Apparently there is talk of insurance going up by possibly 30% next year for younger drivers!! adam
  15. It shouldn't matter about your dad Get a starlet! They are one of the cheapest cars to insure. Im supprised your struggling being a girl aswell. When I was 17 and just past my test, insurance was £716 under my mum. You should be able to get the same price, if not better!! adam
  16. Looks really good! Think i'll be buying a copy when it comes out
  17. Elephant and Admiral are good for young drivers. Good websites which are easy to use amend quotes etc Try putting your parents down as named drivers, that will help a lot lower the price. Are you getting insured on an N/A or turbo? Adam
  18. Just think of all the time it is warming up and cooling down mate. When I had my glanza i used to sit there thinking how much fuel it's using and im not actually going anywhere! For example I would let the car warm up for almost 5mins and the journey I was doing was only 5minutes. In theory you are doubling the length of all journeys (Fuel wise) if your not going very far. But mine used to do about 29MPG if I boosted it quit a bit on short blasts. 33/34 MPG day to day. Mix of dual carriageway, backroads and town. 36 MPG on a longer run adam
  19. Most embarrising thing happened to me when at Llandow on a trackday last sat. I was going around the track and then all of a sudden I got black flagged. I went back to the paddock, checked my car over as I was worried it was leaking or something, but couldnt see anything As I was standing there thinking WTF the head marshall went on the tannoy system and goes "attention paddock, attention paddock. Will the driver and passenger of the white Nissan please make their way to the tower" !!!!!!!! I FELT LIKE CRYING!!! But oh well. My MICRA showed a lot of nobs up with much better cars (Oh and
  20. I think a 4EFTE in a 205 would be awesome!! Must agree with scot-ish. My 205 was definatly the best handling car I have ever driven. New exactly what it was doing and sooooooo much fun!!! someone do it!!! adam
