Sorry have been quite busy recently, looking for new jobs, splitting up with my girlfriend etc etc. Well the hybrid's on, unfortunately couldn't get any pics due to the fact that as soon as the turbo was delivered to the workshop it was fitted! ;) Taken off the BOV due to leakages (Not surprised as it was only a cheapy one) so got standard recirc valve linked up. Picked up the new downpipe, but i'm unsure of what make it is. The workshop seemed to think it was a zep decat but i'll put some pics up in a bit for u to look at, and you can see for yourselves. Downpipe will be fitted tomorrow

@ JAG - Good news JAG i've got a job interview, working as an autism specialist. I've got shit loads of experience working with children with special needs, particularly autism, so fingers crossed I'll have some income for my hybrid powered baby. Good News! The new turbo's arrived Bad news - Still waiting on the de-cat pipe. Unfortunately as i have a new job lined up i'm asking him to fit it when he gets the de-cat asap, so there wont be any pictures until i get her on the ramps. But i'm gona to have to get up some videos of the new turbo and exhaust note, hopefully over the weekend! Rea

@ JAG - Yeah that was one of me best mates, Adam. That's the one who's brother in law owns Kai Performance in Aylesford, who I was telling you about. Small world eh? No it aint done yet, apparently the mechanic sent my old turbo to the manufactures address rather than their other address, apparently he thinks they're bullshittin' him just trying to buy some time. Couriers are supposed to drop it off at some point today, hopefully. I was thinking, when the new turbo's in i'd like to get it to the dyno to check what the hybrid and decat have added! So if anyones up for that place in charing

£949, found out that's just for turbo, de-cat pipe, VAT & delivery!!! So quite a bit more than expected.

its being done as we speak jag. I sent in the old ct9 on an exchange basis, so they check for measurements/fitments and then build me a brand new hybrid turbo. Should all be done in less than a week hopefully. Cant wait to get her back, seems like ive been without her for so long. If anyones got any bhp figures for standard boost pressures on a hybrid, could you let us know, cheers Joe.

The worrying thing is they have no idea of how the old turbo blew! Hope the new ones a bit stronger, does anyone have a hybrid, will i notice a difference on standard boost? obviously it wont be on standard boost for too long! Joe.

Just found out new turbo and other parts plus vat will cost £949!!! Was hoping it to be a bit less than this considering i have a bit fat income of zero at the moment but nevermind. Haven't updated in a while, just thought I'd give you the latest news. Oil seal on turbo blew whilst cruising up the motorway at 70mph! Had to wait on a grass bank on the m20 for an hour and a half in the cold wind until the recovery service came! Really annoyed because ive only had the motor for a few months. I am also now out of a job, so quite skint. Anyway, here's the good news: On order is a brand new turbo-dynamics hybrid turbocharger along with a zep de-cat and second hand up-rated manifold off a mate. Also i'll be getting a turbo timer and boost gauge after the new turbo is fitted

Will be there with a few unexpected mods due to oil seal blowing on turbo! (Brand new turbo, decat pipe, new mani) Count me in fellas, and i love nando's. Joe ;)
