Nice simple mod mate. How comes yours chatters with the standard airbox on though? Thought that the chattering escapes through the open filter! Joe

I only saw this in the dark a few days ago and it looked fookin' mental. A bit crazy for me, it does need lowering, but i agree with Briggers: modify it sensibly and accordingly it could look quite effective. Must feel good to have such a unique motor mate, good luck with it Joe

are you using the standard n/a clutch with the fte? Good luck with everything mate, the boost will compliment the already amazing looks of your motor

Thanks Si Found out silly things about toyota engine bays that just make no sense whatsoever! Good fun tho, well worth the gearbox dropping mishap After driving the car hard with the new clutch fitted, found out that i've only been boosting a pathetic 7psi since i got the hybrid in may! This weekend it will hopefully see 11psi/0.8 bar ish. So should feel a little bit quicker. Joe

Found this on the inside of each of my wheels: The paddle clutch was fitted two nights ago with a mate, we started at 7pm and finished at roughly 3am! so it wasn't too bad. After suffering with a temperamental slipping clutch it's sooooooo nice to have such a responsive one Surprisingly enough I haven't stalled it once yet. The clutch pedal is so much smoother and really quite bitey, I managed to do my first hill start to day on square hill road. Those who know it should understand the sense of achievement I felt conquering it with a paddle clutch! Anyway here are some pics of the clutch change: We ran into a slight snag, but not to worry for now Some bolts on the gearbox were quite hard to get to In with the engine crane for the gearbox Gearbox prepped for droppage, although it wasnt very heavy at all! made easier work tho Old release bearing out The old clutch plate was sooooo worn! bling! Everything is now back as it was and the clutch is sooo bitey and responsive! up the boost a bit and rolling road here we come! Joe

Yeah i know mate, can't wait til its lowered, just wanna do things right and get uprated shocks first. have sprayed two wheels white and they are on the car and i must say they look niiiice!!! Have done the calipers in red as well! Will update again tomorrow with some pics. Joe.

Well time for a bit of an update. Haven't really done loads to it but have acquired the following: 40mm lowering springs (gonna wait and get uprated shocks too) mushroom style air filter autogauge boost gauge blitz DD blow of valve oh yeah and a CAP paddle clutch! Clutch hasn't gone on yet but i'll be fitting it with a mate tomorrow night! Can't wait as i've had clutch problems on and off since i got the car rolling roaded in february! Also JAG is coming round tomorrow morning and were gonna give my wheels a refurb and spray them in white! Here's a few pics of my new purchases: Not amazing wheels but hopefully they will look ok in white tomorrow: Got this off a mate for £50!!! Bargain... Anyone order pizza!
