  1. Supporting mods? Its not like i haven't thought about it, its just i've had to spend so much money on other bits for the car (clutch and gearbox, not cheap) and quite frankly its made me so skint, hence why i was heavily thinking about selling. Thanks for your concerns but its running really nice and strong at the moment and its my bday next week so will hopefully be seeing a fmic in the next week or two, aswell as a mild steel mani Joe
  2. @ chanelle - yeah tint film. You can see it at medstone @ Bill - Mate, back when i bought that turbo in like april last year i had only had the car a few months and didnt know an awful lot about them. See you on friday bro.
  3. I think your the only person thats ever said that and your completely right! But the wheels and tints were two really cheap mods! Plus it's my birthday next week and payday shortly after so hopefully mani/fmic then Joe
  4. i had the idea in my head first Oh yeah windows are tinted now aswell Joe
  5. Mate, do them black! Do you mean your speedlines? That will look sick! Just do the calipers a different colour Joe
  6. Cheers for all the positive feedback peeps. @ jonnyoldroyd - Lowered 40mm mate, cheers i really like the ride height. @ JAG - easy mistake to make spraying the wrong side of the wheel nuts @ chanelle - Yeah JAG's a legend. But he can't take credit for the calipers, that was my idea Joe
  7. Right here we go. Alarm set at 7.45am on sunday ready for spraying the wheels! Jag got here shortly after 8 and we went and got a few bits from B&Q before starting work. Started work - cleaning the wheels Then we rubbed most of the white off with wet n dry and wrapped the tyres in newspaper ready for spray Base coat of hammerite smooth black: finished that side and then got to work on the outside of the wheel; base coat: a fair few coats later: Dan messin around with the fluorescent orange spray!!! Before lacquer: After lacquer: unwrapped! During this mad proces
  8. Forgot to do a little update - silly me. Got the car back on thursday from the garage, and i'm really pleased with the work they've done. The following is the work they did: 1) New gearbox mounts and new captive nuts welded, also loads of nuts and bolts fitted on the gearbox because shit loads were missing not to my knowledge (the prick that i trusted to put my gearbox back together after the clutch was fitted couldn't be arsed to fit them all!!!!) 2) Welded de-cat (it had a hairline crack) and heat-painted and heat-wrapped 3) Best of all - Exedy organic racing clutch kit with machined flyw
  9. JAG i love you, thanks for doing that. Can't wait til tomorrow, although i have no idea of how to do lips as i have never done one in the past! what do you do, i've got this stuff for the lip click Joe
  10. No worries bro, i need everyones input to get a date we can all agree on. Come on boys n girls! Joe

  12. I'm organising a Dyno day at SW Autos in Biddenden (In between Ashford and Maidstone) And the owner's quite happy for us to use his 2wd dyno one saturday at £35 per head within the next month or so. I haven't yet discussed a date with him (thought i'd find out if anyone was interested first) Not just starlets welcome but we need 6-10 cars for the discount (otherwise its £45 plus VAT) and please consider it's only a 2wd dyno. So here goes: 1) Joe-EP91 (Glanza V) 2) 3) 4) 5) 6) 7) 9) 10) Thanks, Joe
  13. Yeah yeah, well maybe when the car's outta the garage. As for a front mount don't get the hdi one mate, theyre well built kits but they are a bit excessive and need bumper choppage! :harhar: Think i might go for a autobahn fmic, i guess it depends how much you want to spend mate. Joe
  14. Lookin good bro, looking at yours makes me realise how much i need clear indicator lenses! :harhar: Will look sick with the front mount. Joe
  15. Looking really good man!!! Bet your well chuffed man. Whats up with the bonnet though mate?

    Vxr!

I agree with the bad image bit. To me personally without being biased, the car itself doesn't do it for me, having been a passenger in one, mine feels quicker to 60 deffo
  17. good luck with it all man, can't wait to see it when its all finished.

    Vxr!

Not being funny mate, but go and join a vauxhall forum if you think this lol. We are simply putting our opinions across. Being bias is completely irrelevant.

    Vxr!

Vauxhall corsa and good all-rounder. Never thought i'd hear those in the same sentence lmfao Vauxhalls are vauxhalls and they always will be. End of.....
  20. It's a Universal-Turbo's r-spec hybrid. I can't remember an exact figure off the top of my head but i think about £650 for just the turbo, which is quite a lot looking back. This was before i knew about the gt spec hybrids, i would've loved one of those but i wanna see how this one performs at 1.2 bar. Cheers mate, I've got a feeling the fuelling is fine. She spits flames and smells a bit on the rich side, but will be getting a full check over from the boys at SW Autos. Spoke to them on the phone earlier and despite the clutch problem, they said i've got a cracking little motor so
  21. UPDATE: Bad news Clutch or/and gearbox problem, very loud whining/grinding pulling away from stationary. Whatever is wrong with it it has baffled me and fellow starlet owners! Gearbox oil changed and new release bearing fitted but this has made no difference whatsoever so it's in the hands of SW Auto's in Biddenden as of this afternoon. I was strongly considering putting it up for sale a couple of weeks ago, but considering i've just landed a new job with a pretty decent wage I might just reconsider, we'll see. Got a feeling its gonna be in the garage for quite a while, i'm sure as hell gon
  22. LOL at michael mcintyre. Im nobodys boyfriend, but this is what i look like: On the right: Joe
  23. I have never found a garage that i can trust, for one reason or another theres always a fault i can pick at when i pick my car up. I have done a fair bit of the work myself but need quite a bit of work done and i've only just started a new job and need to get it booked in. Can anyone suggest a decent garage, maybe jap specialists near the maidstone area of kent?? Sorry if posted in wrong section. Joe
  24. Not 100% that i can make this now as my gearbox is fucked!
