  1. Deffo not the release bearing as ive only just had a new one fitted, and definatley not a slipping clutch as i know what that feels like and its really responsive in gearing down (really bites into gear) This leads me to believe it could be gearbox trouble! Cheers though mate, i'm gonna look into it more, any more thoughts would be great. Thanks Joe
  2. i reckon its something to do with the abs. Remember the bloke that fitted my tyres saying that running on tyres that are a much bigger profile than standard can mess with your abs! I was like what the fuck!? He reckoned the bloke that bought the car before me didnt buy 55s because of the price (65s are almost half the price) Or was he chatting complete shite?
  3. It's really weird, the brake pedal sometimes crunches and stops me from braking the car properly but only when im going really slow, coming to some red lights or parking. This car is giving me nothing but grief now! Any help appreciated, thanks Joe
  4. its not putting it in gear thats crunchy but when i reach the biting point pulling away from stationary. New release bearing fitted when the clutch was put in yes. Any ideas?
  5. oh yeah, clutch engages into gears 2,3,4,5 really nice without making a sound!!! So i'm guessing its not clutch related
  6. have had the clutch on for quite a few thousand miles (maybe 5-6k) and its only started doing this within the last week. I reckon it could be a gearbox problem..... Gonna change the gearbox oil on saturday so we'll see if that makes any difference Can anyone help at all?? Thanks, Joe
  7. Right....after gettin my car back this afternoon with the new release bearing fitted i now have another problem. When in 1st gear or reverse pulling away and i lift the clutch to the bite it makes a grinding/whining noise and feels like its not biting properly, a classic example of this is on a hill start when you have to ride the clutch a bit more than usual, it goes mad and starts whining away!!! Anyone know what it could be?? Hope its nothing too serious as ive had to spent shit loads out for this car recently. Any help appreciated, thanks in advance Joe

  14. The release bearing has gone on my clutch. I've been told by a mate that works in a garage that he'll have it done for £100 quid labour, which sounds pretty good to me. What bearing do i need to buy as it's a paddle clutch, cheers. Joe

  21. *UPDATE* Had my CT9 hybrid fitted on sunday with a massive thankyou to Alexgtadv for doing the hard work. Couldn't do it at mine because i dont have any tools or space.
