take ure time, make sure the surfaces is keyed well, then clean it properly, with degreasers and real hot water etc. then make sure its bone dry.. primer first, leave a good few hours before you change to the paint, then 24 hours befor you clear coat it. the key is thin and even coats. too thick and you will get runs and make it look tatty Jay

it should be fine mate, its designed to handle the savage raw POWER of the 4efe, so no matter what its got it should be good for at least 100bhp lol Jay

got one for the blue one, a blue print one for £50. but got it from a mate on the trade, so £80 sounds about right. when you hear of the silly prices getting a clutch fitted, its the labour that costs, not the parts. Jay

did some more on my car today, it now starts off the key! no more pickey hotwiring. all ECU is wired up perminantly, along with ignition and fuel pump. been looking through a magazine i have, and im guna buy a rocket style switch and a start button, and run the fuel pump through the switch as an extra security measure, and the start engine button just cuz im childish lol next week its wiring all the headlights up, and edding some wire to the loom for the side repeaters.

you forgot to add fuel cut to ure spec list lol what hybrid you looking at? Jay

LOL i think people take stuff way to seriously now days. surely even if you had some form of hatred towards the user because he has stated he hit fuel cut on purpose... that on its own should make you happy? knowing that smile will turn upside down sooner or later?! as random as it is, whatever floats ure boat lol

aii should look sweet altho i am in 2 minds about getting stickers for it. they look nice with out, but the blue ones that come on would go with the colour of the car. but i dont wanna buy genuine stickers, cuz they are not real volks. but dont want the hole RAVS for CHAVS look. what you lot think? also need some tuner style wheel nuts, as standard dont fit in the wholes. anyone know of any cheap ones? hi every one. just wanting to know if i am gunna need a gt map sensor instead of my NA sensor? will be running emanage blue, with a 3 bar map sensor, so will the emanage just do away with it? or will it be used at any point? Jay

Jap NA redlines higher as well, the uk engine would not handle it because of the different valve springs. you would get bounce.... or so im told somthing i looked into. to be honest guys, mite just be easier putting a 5efe in, with a few other mods and get similar power that way we know that can be done, and its not overly expensive. can be done on a tight budget. need a slight idea what ure doing though

cheers guys @ liam, yeah no worries mate pop over when you want! mike was over today, using his bay to kinda copy vaccum pipes, and work out what some sensors are supposed to do/go. getting there though! hit a bit of a problem though, im using the NA fan belt, on the gt alternater, waterpump, bottom pulley. it fits on the later 2 fine, but its almos bowing down into the alternator pulley, and its just throwing a fine black powder all over the place. so dunno what the crack is with that yet. need to get a thinner one, but dont know anything about them so dont know if thats possible. im obviously not running power steering or the air con, so its gota be an NA belt. anyway on a positive note, heres a few pics of bits and bobs i got done. the carbon fibre centre console build, ready to go in. the engine breather relocation kit ive pulled together. gunna make one for the blue starlet when those bits are ready to go in and my lovely stainless manifold is now gold :/ only run the engine for a total of about 2 mins and its already this gold lol anyway, few more bits coming soon over next few days, next wiring update will be on saturday though, got a few relays and fuses on order that i will need. brought some wheels for this little whiper snapper the other day. some of you may have seen them for sale. purchased 3 inovit stvi's in white. 4th has a real bad dint in it. so currently looking for a 4th from somwhere. will probs buy new from POTN or somthing. havnt got round to it yet though as ive been busy on the turbo build. but heres some pics anyway, on my rota grids ( 15" rim ) till i source other rim, and so i can sell the TTE ones. this is the damaged rim, pretty bad lol.. tyre is fine, but rim is cracked, and has a similar ding on the back side. and heres a pic of the white rim offered up infront of the grid. the new ones are 16" and as they are white they look loads bigger. really gunna suit this colour and car i think more updates soon
