cheers guys got a set of SR dials ordered the other day off starlet streetracer so i can see what the engine is doing got one of the hoses fitted from the group buy recently, but bottom one is different. so waiting for phil to get back to me on that one... this is the bottom hose compared to the new one : once its fitted on the bottom, gunna leave the engine running for 5 or so minutes, getting all the fluids to where they need to be, then top them up

mate, really dont bother with the steelies... you still have shite tyres and shite grip/control etc. you can pick up 2nd hand rims cheap enough nowadays, and they transform the look and handling of the car big time. good things come to those who wait! Do NOT fit just a tip lol,,, ure cars worth more than that, again 2nd hand cat backs are fairly cheap, or you could even just go for a back box. will look a million times better, and sound better. go to a custom exhuast place if you cant find one, they let you choose ure backbox design, and then fit it to any angle etc you want while you wait. a few places off the top of my head, Exhausts uk, and powerflow. being as ure from london, you will have tonnes of places that do em round ure area! dont cut shortcuts on ure car, you will only regret it when a real smart one goes past.

hi all! got the vids sorted unfortunatly it sounds crap on my fone lol. sounded sweet as in real life... rite heres first, tried to start it, kept ticking over but sounded like it was missfiring, not running properly. was just popin and bangin loads. turns out the HT leads were on the wrong way round on the dizzy cap so with a few minutes sorting them out, and blocking up various vaccum holes it fired straigt up: started it again the 2nd time, and gave it a little rev got we well excited this has, should have seen the grin on my face

Well getting a bit more done each week, progress IS moving foward not backwards! just a quick pic of what interior looks like to give you an idea : upon arival this afternoon, and to be greeted by this site, we then decided to "G" ourselves up abit with a morning dance in the back garden: lol .... anyway dash board weighs a tonne with loom connected to it!! never would have thought there was that much weight behind it!

lol if it was for sale mate you cud have it! but as i say, big plans. infact its yours for £1700.. steal at that i reckon anyway bit of an update, while mine was going nowhere fast i had a bit of time to play with some bits on this one today. did a few bits that were annoying me, and also made a start on engine bay. - sorted the "Pinking" it was suffering from, adjusted the ignition timing by 1-2mm, sorted the problem. - got some new bosch wiper blades, old ones where wanked out, to the point that they fell off when you used them lol - got some blue silicone hose for the relocation of the engine breather filter. - sprayed rocker cover, fuel rail, and cambelt cover Cherry red pearl, onto a silver base coat! - sprayed the exhaust manifold heat sheild silver. - ordered a new induction kit - made a start at looking for a corrola inlet mani. anyway heres a few pics of progress and stages of the day the engine bay as it stands now : should look different soon, nice and shiny stage one - prepare and spray parts with a silver base coat: Stage two - spray same parts Cherry red pearl : Stage three - finishing detail on rocker cover : Sprayed heat shield silver : and heres the silicone hose : all engine parts where off my NA engine so the blue one can keep running, will install all parts once induction kit arrives, got a corrola inlet mani and painted that, and im back off holiday all comments welcome

thanks for all the comments people ;) well as for this cars status, not much has changed to be frank, ive been using it as a daily while mine is off the road, so once mine is done, this can be taken off for a few weeks and start to get things done on it. wheels will be for sale at some point, as will the bumper at some point. but im sure not for a while though. BIG plans coming for it, ive had along hard think about it, and come up with somthing that will look truely amazing will be a while until it is at this point of completion, but good things take time!! keep an eye out on this, will get very interesting...
