Anyone else experienced this issue? Really struggling what to do now
-
I’ve tried that mate even changed the igniter from my friends one and still not working. Engine bay is still original and not been painted.
Anything else you think?

I just fitted a 5E in my ep82 and it had a spark before but had a coolant leak so sorted that out but now it all of a sudden doesn’t want to fire up again.
It’s cranking well. I’ve replaced the ignition coil and also tested a friend’s igniter. Checked the earthing points, checked the igniter is getting signal on the leads, distributer leads all look fine. Gave it extra earth with the power pack and tried but still no luck. It just has no spark
I done a engine diagnostics and it gave me a code of 14
14 Ignition No IGF signal to ECU for 4 consecutive IGT signal during engine running
Open/short in IGF/IGT signal from Igniter to ECU
Igniter malfunction
ECUI have a emanage ultimate piggy pack on the car.
No idea now what to do next anyone able to advise please?

2 - should be in the thermostat housing aswell.
It is only for the cluster temp gauge.
You could fit an aftermarket coolant temp gauge.
Managed to get hold of the correct thermostat housing so will replace it.
Do you know where this single wire goes that is going over the master cylinder? I’ve just earthed it, is that right?

1 - coolant sensor
2 - coolant gauge on dash cluster
3 - for AC sensor on thermostat housing, you no longer have it, there is a bolt there instead. (Irrelevant)
4 - cat temp sensor (irrelevant)
Should be a green coolant temp sensor for the green plug 1, your sensor is grey. Does it fit?
Thanks Dan, I wasn’t sure either so 1 plugs into the coolant temp sensor but it’s grey and green.
For 2 where is the other end for this to plug into or is it meant to be on the thermostat housing?
The thermostat housing is from a glanza V and my looms are ep82

Si is a real decent guy...Met in person and brought many things off him for the starlet and even more parts by postage.
Would highly recommend and trust A* Seller

Does anyone know if I’m not using the dump valve port can I plug my boost controller or boost gauge vacuum in their or with the 3 bar map sensor port T’s off?
Also what is the carbon canister for, the pipe is currently chopped off is it better to use it?

I've got them on my GT. 8J.
Tyres do rub a bit. Depends how you set your suspension.
Nice I got the bc coilovers on there so I guess have to raise it up a bit. Any pictures of how they look on yours Dan?

Does any one know if Rota Slipstream alloys from a glanza would fit a EP82? Or are they too big for the car.
Thanks

Ok no point going TD04 then.
200-220 ish for that boost I’d imagine.
I now have a stage 2 forged engine going in thinking of running around 240-250bhp now.
Looking at fitting the td04 in now so i can definitely reach that just incase the TF035 cant make them figures.
Which td04 is the best one to put in and from which year subaru does it have to be from. So many with different model numbers.
No Spark. Help needed

All earths above are all checked and put on the loom. Multi meter is also showing that it is earthed, I've added a extra earths also. It was only ever started once after fitting the block in so can't be sure it was running the whole time. The coolant leak was just on the turbo water lines and a little from the nut on the thermostat housing. Got it started after a week, left it on for a hour. Turned it off and then back on and then the exact same thing happened again and can't get it started. Just seems to be no spark on it like a intermittent issue. Had a few mechanics look at the car but still no luck.
