Friend of mine has the same in 2005 format (more expensive tax compared to earlier models IIRC) says he puts £70/80 in for every 225-250 miles !!! Prepare for oral sex with Shell station workers haha. they are mega though and have alot of potential for tuning too. take it steady though i have a mate who put one of these through a pub window in the wet and he was taking it steady !

And i bet the local council say the pothole was small enough to drive over without an issue so arent going to claim responsibility for the damage

THIS ^^^^ A know one of the origonal "Pukka performance" lads had a fall out with another in regards a built engine when a small amount of shat blasting sand stayed on underside of cover and caused an engine failure. So if your going to get powdercoated make sure you make them aware that cleanliness is overly important. Used Metal Magic in barnsley for wheels a few times and they seem to be good so shouldnt have a problem with keeping it clean for you.

Ive not read the full thread only 1st few posts so pardon me if i miss something but that quote is quite good considering ! A mate of mine got an 18 month ban for drink driving, no accident or anything, got caught before he did any damage luckily. and when he got his liscence back best he could get was 3.8k IIRC on a starlet GL !!!!!

Some people throw it in low heat oven to set it but some dont, never tried it myself. just tend to leave in a warm, dry and windless place to set fully before bolting it back up.

Give it a good clean so its like new, key the surface back and give it a few light coats of primer then same with paint. Lots of very thin layers is better then a few thick coats. In regards temperature think of it like this. People spray wheels with normal paint all the time and there right at the side of brakes which as 600* and above depending on use ofcourse. That rocker is barely going to see anything over 100* if that ! so make sure you prep it properly at it will be sound. Rocer on my civic has been sprayed with normal paint and looks a treat after about 2 month of hard driving with en

Would bother with VHT personally, doesnt need it providing you prep it properly.

Heard nothing but good things about them bar 1. Friend of mine ordered a filter from them, didnt turn up so got in touch, they didnt reply untill about the 5th email/call saying they sent it and its up to him to chase it up with royal mail ! so due to that i wouldnt purchase from them personally, but apart from that ive heard nothing but good things abotu them !

Thats the one haha, hence my point of aeros, his front diffuser/wing wasnt completed in time so ran without it and well .... you see the outcome haha !

I have a slimline one on the civic, works a treat allthough a few people have complained of a little play in it but mines fine.

I had a racetech td04 kit on my starlet and never had a problem with it ! It had nothing but abuse and went through stupid amount of heat cycles andis still going to this day ! Like MattyD said though, yes a few have failed but compared to the amount he has made and the amount that he has had a problem with his failure rate will be very small. He does honour his guarentee though and even when guarentees out he is allways happy to help. When sparkies cracked it was over 3 year old IIRC but he still fixed it free of charge. They are quality manifolds but as with any product you do get the ocas
