The ECU you use is really dependant on whos doing your tuning, if your tuner has alot of experiance with a certain ECU you will probs get best result from that. Never used P&P ECUs however im not a fan, there not really optimised so tend to run a tad rich with loads of timing put in to make decent power. Each to there own though and they do seem to work most of the time. I have used Emanage Blue though on my old starlet, did the job fine, 12x12 ignition and fuel maps with adjustable fuel cut, doesnt remove top speed cut though (not a major prob as speedo convertor did this) did the job fine for me running 1.5/6 bar on a td04 with stock internals ! (mapped by Ricky@Race-Tech) Emanage ultimate is very similar to EMB apart from having a 16x16 mapping table so can get a much more precise tune, also removes top speed cut and has facilities for launch control and changing rev limit, this can also self tune to a certain extent if you set it up right with a wideband and set a target for it. IMPO for your setup an EMB will probs be best bet, ultimate would be overkill (again IMPO)

The only thing with mixing and matching parts is its also not guarenteed to fit, ie ebay decat with WEPR man obviously use diff Jigs so line up differant. Thats whats got you in this prediciment in the 1st place !! Lol Best thing to do would be getting a new style WEPR downpipe or get exhaust adjusted and loose that big restriction !!

Streight away looking at pic i could see it was a WEPR downpipe as the earlier downpipes were to fit there exhausts specificaly I think asking for a refund isnt a problem however if he says no as its a WEPR product and thats how there designed is also a fair response. Its not his fault its the way it is. And if you didnt ask if it would fit with a stock exhaust im afraid to say live and learn (in my opinion ofcourse) Good excust to get that massive restriction removed from the front of the exhaust !!!

He was a massive bully on track theres no denying that ! It was racing though and if you dont like the heat, get out of the kitchen !! (so to speak) However he was a true legend and really really could drive, a true loss to motorsport The film certainly makes you double think it all RIP Ayrton
