  1. I've pretty much just made exactly that shroud on the cnc machine at work. Havent run it as yet but from all the reading I've done they're of more benefit than not running one as they help draw from the full surface of the radiator.
  2. Looking good guys, real tidy
  3. That's commOn with d2's unfortunately
  4. It's more with the tune than anything. I have run rx7 550's in the past (which are hose pipes essentially) and have had no problems with idle. Sure if the injectors were in the inlet rather than in the head you might have a problem. 440cc mitsi vr4 injectors are good, they have a very good spray pattern and mist well.
  5. From this: To this:
  6. Got a multimeter with a connectivity beeper in it? Its not too hard to trace them. Sorry not sure on diagrams
  7. What plugs do you have left over on the turbo loom? It'll be wires for the tacho, guages and warning lights so wont be hard to cut and solder onto the na plug.
  8. Take the cover off and see if the front housing has been machined to fit a bigger wheel. Might be a previa ct9?
  9. Try and find some 560cc evo injectors, better spray pattern than the rx7 550's
  10. can you post a pic?
  11. Whats the symptoms? Pretty unusual for them to crap out
  12. Already got some white 15's aswell, just thinking about changing these to white too
  13. Hey hey, Anyone any good at photoshop and reckon they could change the colour of the wheels below to white? Just to get an idea. Cheers Stu
  14. The tacho runs off the negative side of the coil. There should be a wire on the plug for the dash on the engine loom that has a black wire with orange dashes - from memory thats the wire to use for the tacho
  15. If your swapping everything over from a EP71 Turbo S donor then the conversion is pretty easy. Rear brakes are the same so (drums) so leave them, front brakes are easy to swap over (1e ones are smaller), swap the fuel tank over and the fuel lines (TURBO S tank has a swirl pot inbuilt, your stock carb one doesn't, and the fuel lines are different), you'll need to put a high pressure filter on the firewall too. Wiring wise just swap everything over (engine, chassis and dash looms. If your converting from a EP82/91 GT Turbo then the job is a bit trickier. The fuel tank wont fit and you'll have to modify the lines to fit. The rear axle wont bolt straight over (panhard runs from the opposite side for starters) and the wiring needs to be converted to work etc
