PWR cores are good but quite alot of money. if you just want a front mount that will do the job but wont cost you an arm and a leg (and you wont be changing your ct9), i would go with something off ebay thats half descent, or a standard item off another car over there that is known to have a good intercooler. (for example, our ford XR6 Turbo's intercoolers are a great upgrade for our starlies, even the ends match up quite well.) Ivan

what do you mean by "hook to the left a bit"? Do you have an adjustable panhard rod? Ivan

I will have a section on here for my parts thankfully. I will also have a site advertising the parts. ivan

not sure about that coding thing as our keys in australia are not coded at all. It may be interesting to see the difference, but another good thing is that you can now modify it to change your rev limmiter to 7300 or thereabouts. There was a post on the old site about it. Was quite interesting to read... ivan

your options are not limited. you can go new or second hand, you can go for the cheaper brands or OEM parts off cars... generally if you just want a cheap intercooler, you go for the cheap cores that are of descent size. I would go with the ones on ebay at the top of this page. Think about it, your replacing your tiny cooler with something much bigger, regardless of its efficiency compared to other brands that size, compare the efficiency of that particular cooler to your stock one, and it will work alot better. Mind you i would look for one that has 2.5" inlets and outlets as 3" might be a b

i have done the 4AGE conversion in an ep71, a 4efte conversion in an EP71, and a 5efte hybrid conversion and turboed 4efe are on their way as we speek. The 4a is by far the best, the engine design is more performance orientaited. Here is a link of a 3sgte in an EP71, it has also been done in an ep82. http://www.starletclub.nl/forum/viewtopic....r=asc&start=225 Personally i think the 3s is a bit too heavy to fit her in, but would make a great quarter mile Also to note, there has been a rear mounted zep racing EP91. That is probably my next project over the next couple of years but will

dont forget the ep82 with and without quadlights cause they are very different... also, adding 6 cars is alot but im sure we can manage ... hehe

Aftermarket computer. Try this guy from Berkshire Mark Shead M.A. Developments Greenfield House 7 Braywick Road Maidenhead, Berkshire SL6 1BD United Kingdom Ph: 01628-671056 Fax: 01628-781576 Mob: 07768-356204 mark@madevelopments.com www.madevelopments.com/ They are a bit pricey but you get what you pay for... Also, when it comes to FCD, dont run too high a boost, only have the FCD there incase it spikes too high. I would leave it at around 11-12psi. Ivan

not sure about you guys over there but i can get a shock rebuilt for AU$80. Thats bugger all and is the going price around here. Hope it helps. Ivan

I would love to tell all the little stories your aquaintences and friends have told me about you and your car but im sure no-one is actully that interested. The fact still stands that the 4efe engine and driveline are not suited for turbocharging as it is weaker! i have both engines apart and i can show you what hte differences are! if you want a nasty supprise costing you a couple of grand down the track, by all means, go for it! As for my products, i will personally notify you when they have been released officially considering you seem to be oh so interested. ivan
-
sorry to hear dude. Stuff like that has been happening in AU as of late tooo. You cant do much but hope it doesnt happen to you... Hope not too much damage is made. Take care... Ivan

I adjust mine using an electronic boost controller that is built into my aftermarket computer. I am using an Autronic - www.autronic.com Ivan

Hey, i will be releaseing my turbo kits quite soon aswell which will be to house a TD04 or VF series (STi) turbo. keep your eyes peeled within the next coming weeks. Ivan

you could convert an ep91/82 into rear wheel drive, but it would be of some messing about. The hardest part would be to make the tunnel under the car. apart from that, everything else should be straight forward. ivan

Also, i would like to add my opinion when it comes to power. It is a fact that a turbocharged car will produce more power than n/a. If your on a budget and your insurance allows a turbo mod, then do it. For every bar of pressure, you are in theory doubling your engine capacity. So if you turbo a 1.3ltr on 1 bar (14.6 psi) then already your ahead with a 2.6ltr engine... Turbo your car cause N/A costs toooo much and you get less gains out of it. Ivan

problem with fitting front mounted intercooler
Ivan replied to hugorufus's topic in Intake, Turbo & Exhaust
do you have air conditioning in your car? are you planning on retaining it? if not then you can run a cooler between the radiator (providing you use a suzuki swift gti radiator) the amount you spend on a new radiator, you will save on custom piping, and you have the added bonus or running super short runners. BoostedGT had a similar setup in his. Ivan -
No probs, email me your paypal details to my email and ill send you the money? how much is it over there in pounds? Thanks heaps for doin this Ivan

just to add something, can you remove the skin and language selection down the bottom cause there is no point in having it there... Just my opinion...Reason why is a: there is only one language to select b: you dont want to change the look of the site - branding just my thoughts. Ivan

hey enzo, we dont have that mag over here, do you think you could scan it in and send it over for a read? Ivan

There are different foglight versions... remember that. Luckily the foglights for the SUV are clear, just like the glanza lights, whereas the glanza foglights are fogged - go figure. The glanza foglights dont fit into the SUV bar and vice versa. I bought the SUV lights for my glanza as i wanted the clear lens... think it looks better. Ivan

you cant mod the bonnet or else it will be weaker, look like crap and there is no point when the glanza bonnet is a bolt on... As for the bumper, you can alsways mod a bumpter like the sr version but it wont look as good as the glanza bar. Trust me, i have thought about it and went the easiest least painful route... the complete glanza conversion. As for the rear bar, i would suggest you preplace it aswell as they seat lower and more outward which looks meaner, and better. Also, the skirts are a must Ivan
