well, you know where your induction kit fits onto the pipe that lead to the inlet mani, on that pipe there is a small box that leads from under there, what does that do then? just thought it was the same thing as my colt but obviously im mistaken.

before i got my starlet i had a mitsi colt, and loads of people on there forums raved onm about the 'bottletop' mod basically it involved removing the air resonator box and were the hole is you basically get the top off a bottle and stick that there instead then get the clip tighten it up again and they say it is meant to give you a lot nicer sound from your induction kit as the resonator is only there to make things quieter and it gives you very minimal induction gains and you are using all the air possible or something, just wondered if anyone had done it on a starlet and if they got the sam

in thinking that, the old starlets , there was a rwd one? sure i have read it somewhere that there is. would there be any possibilty in converting all the driveshafts and running gear from one of those onto an ep91, cause im looking to eventually 4efte mine but just wondered as i havnt saw it done by anyone before with the rwd , but that got me thinking maybe no1 has done it because you cant lol. thanks in advance. pallett

i have just done my wheels aswell, all i used was traditional spraypaint from like halfords or any normal car shop, just spend loads of time preparing the wheels right, sanding wet and dry dremel if you need it to remove some curbing and just take time i guess lol.

haha thats my cars name. standard 1.3na with optional alloys and spoiler from factory. havnt had much money at the mo to do much to it so just sorted the basics out so far before start doing anything big. got a new inlet mani on the way thanks to starletrick refurbished my wheels myself, well two so far other two are nearly done. got some import plates aswell, hate the lanky normal ones lol and got rid of the rubbish bumpstrips to smooth the sides down a bit. and finally tinted the rear lights so they are all a nice cherry red instead of havin colour strips all over the place. heres how it lo

ive asked before about this, but when taking the rubbish bump strips off, am i gonna end up with loads of glue and horrible discoloured paint underneath where they were or does it look the same as rest of the paintwork as i have had mine machine polished all over and dont want to ruin it by taing them off and then having dirty strips instead of bump strips. also how long did it take you to do them about? your car is looking real smart now mine is how yours started at the minit just waiting for more money to come in to get the project underway. thanks for any help you can give mate pallett

ok, well thanks for your help, but the main thing as in my earlier post i said rubber piping, not knowing the best thing for the job, and all i wanted was some help like and if someone would have said silicone hosing then i could have searched for that. so thanks for your help, and i was also being light hearted but maybe that came across as taking the piss also. got it sorted now anyway so thanks guys.
