Makes sense to change it. Its a standard fuel pump at least 10 years old designed by toyota to fuel a standard engine running standard boost.. Your raising the boost therefor more fuel is needed, the old fuel pump will be working harder? Not exactly wise to leave it, no brainer really. Your engine not mine, just my opinion. And whether someone has had aa original fuel pump fail on them or not... i dont exactly think someone wants to wait and find out do you? Mitch

You dont need one but i would. That pump will be old and shit. No harm in gaining reliability from having a fresh new high flowing fuel pump.. Mitch

Change the fuel pump for 255lph. Get a HKS actuator if you haven't already. Mitch
