Welcome to the sale of my immaculate Japanese import Toyota Starlet Glanza V, which I believe to be one of the best condition Glanza's in the country. The only reason the vehicle is for sale is due to lack of use and only covering 470 miles since I had it imported in 2020 and since been in the UK it has been dry stored and never used in the rain or damp conditions. The car drives flawlessly with no unwanted noises or smoke and the gearbox is extremely smooth. The car is absolutely immaculate underneath, inside and outside. There is the odd little mark inside from general wear. The outside is immaculate with not one single mark at all and the finish of the paint work is outstanding. Underneath is also immaculate (see pictures) The vehicle was imported completely standard apart from aftermarket wheels and steering wheel and was in excellent condition overall. Since owning the vehicle thousands has been spent including a full exterior paint job by Phil Bell panel and paint which cost £2900 and was completely stripped down for the paint job. The reason for the paint job was because I'm extremely OCD and a perfectionist (see the pictures at the end for the vehicle when i received it back from paint and when i first bought it at). I have clear wax oiled the vehicle for long lasting protection (I used clear so it shows that there is nothing to hide underneath) There is absolutely no rust underneath or on the exterior of the vehicle. The car has been maintained regardless of cost since been in my ownership. 3x oil and filter changes. Gearbox oil change. brake fluid change Cambelt, water pump and oil pump. Fuel filter. Track rod ends, inner tie rods and boots. Handbrake cables. 4 wheel alignment. new OEM clutch. rotor arm, dizzy cap, spark plugs and coil pack. The vehicle has been very slightly modified since I've owned it but every original part that has been removed has been kept and will be included in the sale (see pictures). Which also includes OEM wind deflectors and brand new Powerflex bushes. The list of modifications and spec below. Walbro uprated fuel pump. Sytec adjustable fuel pressure regulator. Tuning development 3" cat back exhaust (sounds lovely and not to loud) Tuning developments 3 core radiator. Short route front mount intercooler. WEPR ramhorn manifold and decat. RW developments catch can and modified cam cover. Yellow speed coilovers. Rota grid alloys with 4 uni royal rainsport 5 tyres which have only covered 470 miles. adjustable panhard rod. OEM rear strut brace (very rare). Magnecore HT leads. Dump valve The vehicle will come with 12 months test. I've tried to be as honest as possible with the description. FIRST TO SEE WILL BUY. Price is- £10,500 For more information please call or message Charlie on 07783647990.

Little update. Fitted a adjustable fuel pressure regulator due to having a small fuelling issue which the FPR has rectified. The fuel pressure has been set at 2.8 bar vac line off and the car now runs a dream! Lovely weather for a blast out this morning… roll on summer 💨 -
Thanks for the input mate. I’ve bought a sytec fuel pressure regulator, I was told that it would be good for the job, would this be the case? while I’m on sorry for causing abit of a stir 😬
-
Hi rob do you know what is the best pressure for a pretty much standard 4efte with vac line off? Is it the 2.4 bar you stated?
-
When setting my fuel pressure regulator up do I do this with the vacuum line on or off?
-
Thanks for the reply’s lads

Morning guys, looking at putting an aftermarket fuel pressure regulator on my glanza. Does anybody know what setting the fuel pressure should be set at? cars running standard boost CT9, fmic, 3inch exhaust, 255lph fuel pump. thanks

Thanks burty, how’s your respray coming along? It goes really well considering I’ve not done any major mods to it, just need to fettle the suspension as it doesn’t fill me with the most confidence on the road yet. -

Treat the car to an ignition overhaul, oil filter change and set the ignition timing at the weekend. new aftermarket coil pack, genuine distributor cap, genuine rotor arm, magnecore ignition leads and iridium spark plugs. -
Well done mate, that interior has come up mint! Plenty of hours must have gone into cleaning that up 😂

Thanks mate! I wasn’t to sure on the tints tbf, but now it’s fully built back up I couldn’t imagine it without them. I personally don’t think those ‘eBay’ Toyota adapters would work with your general diagnostic machine unless it had the specific software on for starlets, but I could be wrong. As the only other way you could use it would be in eobd mode which unfortunately wasn’t brought in till 2000 -

The hunt is finally over, wanted the oem rear strut brace since the day I got the car but never been able to find one that has all the covers. Definitely paid over the odds for it but I just couldn’t resist 😅 it’s in pretty much mint condition other than the markings that can been seen on the nearside cover -
Pretty much asking for the impossible. I’m looking for the original optional extra 3 point rear glanza strut brace. full recaro interior or just the front seats (can trade with my standard glanza interior) Top cash price paid. contact me on 07783647990

Fresh update from the past week or so. I removed the cam cover in preparation for sending to dean at RW developments for some AN fittings welding up and a catch tank. Before I sent the cam cover away I decided to the remove the baffle to clean and remove the carbon build and to be quite honest it was fairly clean and did seem like a waste of time. But atleast I could be certain all the metal swarf had been removed after the AN fittings had been welded on. Fairly simple process really, Drill all of the baffle spot welds out to release the cover, then drill the holes about 10mm down and tap the holes out to suit m6 bolts. Then seal the cover back on, lock-tite the bolts in and I also tacked them with the welder for good measure and peace of mind 😂 I have also started to fit my wepr CT9 relocation manifold aswell. Up to now the manifold is fitted with new studs and nuts from tuning developments and the turbo mounted up to the manifold. Currently in the process of rerouting the intercooler pipe work due to the location of the turbo now the old short route pipe will not fit. -

Had a shuffle through the stores at work looking at all our old diag equipment to see if we had anything that would communicate with the starlet... I stumbled across this old beast! The launch x431 that has the 22 pin Toyota adapter, proper blast from the past 😂 Needless to say it works perfect with the glanza and can access engine, abs and airbag for fault codes and live data 😃 -

Thanks mate! I’m really chuffed with how it’s coming out now, starting to feel like the expense of a fresh paint job was worth it 😂😃 -
So I took my car out for the first time in quite awhile and when going over about 5500 rpm it’s hitting what feels like fuel cut but it was absolutely fine before hand. The only thing I’ve changed while it’s been parked up is the fuel pump and fitted the updated walbro 255lph pump. my question is with fitting an aftermarket fuel pump should I also have fitted a fuel pressure regulator and is this the issue? thanks in advance

No exciting updates other than it’s nearly all built back up other than waiting on a few trim clips then take it to work to mot it then start enjoying it again 😎 -
I’m looking for a drivers side rear C-pillar trim like in the pictures as the fixings are broke on mine. thanks in advance

Got the windows finally put back in today. While they were out I also had them tinted and to be honest I’m not sure if I like them tinted or not now 🤦♂️ Hoping to spend Friday putting some more parts back on, really eager to get it back on the road now. -
