It's actually dry for once and I'm going out driving in a short while. I will be furious if it starts raining now though, it did the other day just as I got in the car, started coming down.

Oh and just to give you an idea of prices: I picked up a 1998 sportif in amazing condition, two owners from new, both in the same family, service history, 65k on the clock, £750. Insurance for myself on provisional license is £1000.

Welcome to UKSC - I agree with what has been said above though. But there's always the option of a non-turbo Starlet, you can buy Glanza bumpers/lights/bonnet/spoiler, it will look just the same as a Glanza. And anyway, N/A Starlets are easily fast enough for a first car, faster than 95% of other peoples first cars.

Was on an industrial estate, down a road which was a dead end (so it was quiet) and was practising stopping as fast as I could, so was flooring it then braking hard. Some other learner came down to do a 3 point turn or something and interupted what I was doing, so my dad said to drive round the "circuit" of the industrial estate and come back to the little road to see if shes gone. I did and she was... but then she came back again, and it really pissed me off because there were quite a few places to do 3 point turns or whatever, why did she have to go to the one I was on. (I don't own the road, I know, I know... but still, it pissed me off). and yes before someone says it, I am a prick and probably do have road rage ;)

I stuck my fingers up at another learner, and felt bad for it afterwards. stupid really Other than that, it was raining, yet again.
