It's pissing me off it's the only thing that needs doing on the Starlet before it can go up for sale. The longer it takes me to sell it the longer it takes before I can put the CRX on the road. Tried loads of car part websites and having no luck!
-
Cheapest I've found so far is £30 a side, whereas my cousin can get the whole set for his stupid Corsa for £20!! Oh well atleast whoever buys my Starlet knows it's all been done. Just need to find somewhere to order them from because I don't want to risk buying those ones off camskill if they wont fit the drum brakes.
-
PM'd you lyle but I would rather have new ones, thanks anyway. Getting quite pissed off with this, can't find cheap handbrake cables anywhere! And need to order some today.

Doesn't look that bad from the picture. Is the slam panel bent? My old N/A Starlet was hit at 5-10 mph and it fucked the bonnet/bumper/wing/headlight/slam panel. They crumple like paper.

I needed a "cheap" but decent head unit as the one that was in the car didn't have RCA pre outs. Should be a good enough sound system for me, 2 front speakers + tweeters, 2 rear speakers, and a sub + amp in the boot. Nothing special but apart from the head unit it was either given to me for free or came with the car so I can't complain lol.

Got my seats back from the trimmers today, looking good, will get some pics soon. Also just ordered this:

Pictures Of My Sr And Does Any One Have A Air Box I Can Have ?
ste91 replied to Cale's topic in Welcome New Owners!
That looks seriously clean! You've made a good job of that mate. -
Have you tried Sky?

I heard from somewhere that a lot of insurance companies have problems with roll cages as they are "dangerous" because of potential head injury. Obviously when you're on a track you're wearing a helmet but on the road there's a chance of bumping your head on the roll cage, or something like that anyway. Is it a proper roll cage or just one of those show cages? If it's not a proper one then I'd take it out.
-
You've got the nice plain bump strips though, I had the horrible green/yellow things on mine lol. Would have been a bit of a mission for you to come all the way over here, did you get that one local?

D series is poo. Bet it went well though.

Sportif Exhaust And Inlet Manifold Questions
ste91 replied to navrallystarlet's topic in Intake, Turbo & Exhaust
The exhaust will be the same, not sure on what year Corolla is needed for the manifold but 95 sounds a bit too early, they're off the "bug eye" Corollas. -
Haha that looks almost exactly like the Starlet I'm selling, white 3 door, no spoiler, optional extra Momo's, only difference being I have removed my bump strips.
-
Cheers Anup I'll get some proper vids of it on VTEC once it's on the road, it sounds amazing.

Dropped my seats off to be re-trimmed today, picking them up on friday. Quite close to getting everything finished now just stupid things holding it up.

New Site Just For Scottish Starlet Owners
ste91 replied to japcarmaniac's topic in The Scottish Quarter
RACIST!! lol jk, what's wrong with UKSC though, why would you need a "Scottish only" Starlet site when you have the Scottish section on here anyway? -
If you aren't on there already get yourself over to http://www.tbdevelopments.com/forum Best place for MR2s!
-
Another cheaper alternative is to just drill a load of holes in the bottom of the airbox.
-
An induction kit IS an air filter, but I'm guessing you mean standard air box filter? Alot of people prefer the standard air box but personally I'd go for an induction kit with a cold air feed.

I hate Porsche but have to admit those one's are nice. The Jaguar XJ220 is stupidly quick aswell, there's a nice old Top Gear vid of the XJ220 and F40 on youtube, a fair bit of turbo lag and then immense acceleration!
-
It's the rear sections I need, specifially the driver's side.

Pics/price/specs?

Too many wrong numbers being thrown aroud the internet.

Or this: http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/kenwood-kdcw3044a.html Anyone got opinions on these two? I'm really liking that Kenwood one but alot of people I've spoke to have said Pioneer or Alpine are better choices.

Found this which looks fairly decent: http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/pioneer-deh-1200mp.html
