I got all the interior back in yesterday, the sun roof "kind of" works, I'll sort it out properly at a later date but for now atleast everything's back in. I totally forgot how low you are sat in this car, I can't see the bonnet at all. After nearly 7 months waiting the OMP steering wheel finally turned up, but I think I prefer the Nardi one anyway. I think I might go up the garage this morning and start prepping/painting the brake calipers, I'll try to get some pics.

Jokes aside - you wouldn't believe it but I actually heard an advert for something for christmas on the radio a couple of days ago.

5EFE Or sell the silly Celica and get a 4EFTE. Otherwise don't waste your money. On the other hand what about handling mods? Have you done the rear ARB? Anti lift kit? Coilovers? Brakes?
-
You'd be fine leaving it as it is.

The Corolla manifold is easy, the bolts can be awkward to get at but it's a straight forward job. Took me a couple of hours the first time I did it but the 2nd time it took me about half an hour. De-catting the exhaust should give you a tad more power up the higher end of the rev range. Might lose a tiny bit of low end torque. And it will make the exhaust sound raspier. Oh and about the throttle cable holder, some people made brackets and other complicated shit, you can just bend the one that's on there with pliers and it will hold the cable fine.

As Gary said it's alot easier to get an EP95 if you already have a Glanza, that way you can literally swap everything over. Will you be doing the work yourself or need someone to do it for you?

Just do them black, brightly painted drums are terrible lol.

I'd smash some of them girls into the middle of next week. Sometimes it doesn't look right though some look good and others look like they've just crawled out of a council estate.

7XXkg is possible, have a look at NightSpirit's EP82 track car, his was some hardcore stripped out shit, he even went as far as removing every wire that he didn't need lol.
-
All cars will use a little bit of oil.
-
I agree you should be able to insure it. Then again, I randomly did a quote on a KP60 and it came back more expensive than an EP82. But don't get caught up in it being group 6 insurance.

I used to think exactly the same thing until I started reading about it and then you realise it's not as simple as "turn it up to whatever the turbo can handle".
-
It's not only to do with inlet temps, the turbo exhaust housing is essentially a "restriction" on a smaller turbo which is partly the reason a TD04 or other turbo will be better at high boost than a CT9. Read this article: http://www.motorsport-developments.co.uk/t...FAF240.tech.pdf
-
LOL I was thinking the same, show her what's up.
-
You can't blame that on the choice of turbo, there are too many other things to factor in.
-
I took the old 4EFE out of my Starlet with the gearbox in place. Quite tight but possible.
-
Yeah it's definately a 1.6, as Amjad said it's the 4AGE.
-
To be honest you aren't really going to get anywhere with it without throwing a fair bit of cash at it. If I were you I'd be patient and save your money.
-
You may notice more power at 1.2 bar, obviously it's flowing more air. But the difference between 1.0-1.2 bar will be less than the difference between 0.8-1.0 bar The further you turn the boost up the more you're pushing the limits of the turbo's efficiency range and the gains will become smaller and smaller. And another point to make is that for example a TD04 at 1.2 bar will be much better than a CT9 at 1.2 bar.
-
LMAO Honestly though it's not worth watching tbh.
-
Nothing power wise.
-
Nice cars, what's with those fucking RPM gauges in some of them though - for fuck sake there's one there anyway why do you need that ugly big thing? And the shift light? Learn the sound of your engine ffs!

Glanza skirts make such a difference. As said already it just needs some nice wheels.
