  1. Would be pretty pointless because even a low boost B16 on standard internals could have more power than a TD04 4EFTE for example. It would be alot of work for nothing.

    Ep Or Np?

That's also why the older Starlets are called KP instead of EP, it's the K series engine.

    Ep Or Np?

N would be the series of the engine. Toyota's have the letter of the engine series then the letter of the actual car, for example the Supra, JZA80, the engine of course being the 2JZGTE.
  4. Well if you look how over hyped Escort Cosworths are, and how no one talks about GT-Fours, it's funny to think the ST205 GT-Four is slightly better. I'd have a 22B or P1 Impreza any day but normal Impreza's are far too common. Evo's are too full of electronic gadgety stuff although I do like the older models. I'd probably still take a GT-Four but it would have to have some money spent on it. The 3SGTE is a very good engine.
  5. I didn't mean any offence by it...
  6. Sorry mate but that's a crock of shit about VTEC. You don't need a VTEC controller lol... Any Civic with a standard B16 will be just as quick as a standard Starlet, not to mention handle better as standard and not run out of puff so soon because of being a bigger engine. Of course there's more tuning potential with a Starlet because it's a turbo but then you can turbo a B16 and run more power on standard B16 internals than you could on a standard 4EFTE. Don't get me wrong I am a massive Starlet fan and love them they're great little cars but can't stand it when people go around with their "S

  8. Nitrous is highly misunderstood, I had some links to some good articles on it but I can't find them now. A standard 4EFE would handle a small shot of nitrous with no problems aslong as it's running properly. Personally I don't think it's worth using on anything other than a drag car. Definately wouldn't bother with it on a road car. A turbo or supercharger is more worthwhile.
  9. Lol fuck walking to halfords there should be more on ebay.
  10. Comparison sites are shit, go directly to insurance companies, ring them up, it's a pain in the ass but you might end up with a decent quote.
  11. Water is a much more effective heat exchanger than air. Chargecoolers are actually "better" than air-to-air intercoolers in many ways, but I can't be bothered to go into detail. It is possible to use a chargecooler, but it's alot more expensive and complicated to set up compared to a simple intercooler core and a bit of piping.
  12. The Ian Carey Project - Get Shaky (Matrix & Futurebound's Nip & Tuck Remix) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CPrlXFU6Fm8 The original is good but that remix is immense!!
  13. Mate you've got way too much time on your hands why don't you have a wank or something instead it's much more fun than photoshop.
  14. VTEC is good. Those 1.8T's are unreliable from what I've heard. What about a Celica GT-Four? Integra Type R? MR2 turbo? S14? N/A Supra?
  15. 2-3 minutes seems quick, but Luke 15-20 minutes sounds a long time. Are there any air locks? Is the thermostat good? Are the temp sensors working properly?
  16. 1990's naturally aspirated diesel... I can't think of much worse. LOL I bet that sounds like utter shite. You should turbo it and show those 306DTurbo boys how it's done Starlet style.
  17. Red GT3's with chrome lip are fucking nice but as Georgie asked, what colour is your car and is it an EP71/82/91? edit: I'd get the red GT3's then.
  18. Yeah I'm not too bothered about the packaging lol aslong as what's in it is good.
  19. I'll probably upgrade the amp at a later date but for now it's good enough, it was all free anyway, I didn't even plan on buying a sub but my mate bought it for me.
  20. It's a Maxgear 400w amp: http://bilder.elektronik-star.de/images/l/953_amp_3.jpg and an InPhase XT10 1200w (600w rms) sub: http://www.caraudiocentre.co.uk/productima...0_box_ja490.jpg Was given to me for free so can't complain, I just need a wiring kit. Worth paying that little extra for the Vibe kit then? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VIBE-SLICK-8-AWG-GAU...=item3a5bf7dd8f
  21. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1200W-Complete-Ampli...=item3a5b98f871 Just wondering wether it's worth an extra £2.50 for a "Vibe" wiring kit but it contains all the same things, same size wires and same lengths, I can't see how £2.50 is worth it for the name lol... (yes I know it's only £2.50 but I'm tight).
  22. Those wheels need to go lol but apart from that I like it.
