Back in january I ordered a steering wheel for my CRX which still hasn't arrived but I've spoken to the seller and it's being sorted but still pisses me off having to wait so long. The friday before last I ordered a throttle body gasket which was supposedly sent out on tuesday and it's now the following monday and still hasn't arrived. What are they using for a courier a fucking skateboard?

If there's enough space, have you thought about making a sealed air chamber from the ITB's to the bonnet scoop, that way you'd have much less heat soak and you'd be taking in air from the outside of the engine bay. The only problem would be rain but I'm sure it wouldn't be that much of a problem if you put a couple of drain holes in there somwhere.

Seen most of the old episodes but none of the new ones from this year, good program even though alot of the cars they have done don't appeal to me at all, all Eurotrash shit, the only Jap cars I remember them doing was a mk1 MR2 and an MX5. That one in the picture looks like the shit manifold that comes on the UK EP91 4EFE's. (I believe it's the same for 5EFE's). You're better off with the standard 4EFTE manifold or the 5EFHE ACIS one as already mentioned.

What about the injectors are they the same?

Possible write off due to cost, my old Starlet was damaged in exactly the same place, took the headlamp/indicator/bumper/bonnet/wing/slam panel. Is your slam panel bent or any chassis damage? That looks repairable to me if you can get hold of the parts cheap. Infact a new headlight and indicator and it's probably fine to drive again but of course it looks shit with the damage.

Can you use all the 4EFE parts/ancillaries on a 5EFE? Are the injectors the same? If the 5EFE will run off the 4EFE ECU I can see no reason why it wouldn't run properly, or if there's even any difference? And seeing as it's the same engine other than the 5EFE being a longer stroke I assume all other ancillaries are a straight fit? Also what's the deal with the gearboxes/flywheel/clutches, I know the gearboxes can be interchanged but what about the flywheel and clutch?

It's not behind the glovebox in EP82's actually, or so I was told, it's to the left of the clutch pedal or something like that.

Not an update but thought I'd post anyway... pretty pissed off with this, we're into may now and I wanted to do a few things to this car before june but none of it's happened, no fucking job, I've done nothing with the car for 3 months I haven't even started it up since the end of january. Just got the car towed back to my house, tow rope snapped about a minute away so I just turned the engine on and drove it, seemed like it had fuck all power so I'm guessing the HG has gone. Being towed on a really short tow rope behind your sisters car, when you have no brake assist because the engine isn't running = scary.

The ones about the LCD and PC are the best.

Welcome to UKSC. Couple of things though - "I want the Glanza instead of the Starlet" - A Glanza IS a Starlet! He says he bought it from that place then I'd avoid it, heard nothing but bad things from that place. Also if you ever need any work doing then pop down the road to Stourport/Kidderminster and see Tim @ TB Developments.

Hopefully going to borrow a compression tester tomorrow and see how it goes, if it's all good I'll just put a new rad on it and oil+filter change and it should be good to go.
