  1. You could always just change the head...
  2. It's the same as any other rebuild but obviously you use forged pistons and rods instead of cast items.
  3. It wasn't just a flat, the tyre went bang. But I've ordered some Toyo Proxes T1R's now which should be here tomorrow with a bit of luck.
  4. VHT = very high temperature. Normal paint would just flake off because of the heat.
  5. What it means is if someone sees the car running and thinks ooh I'll have that, breaks open the door and manages to get in it with the engine still running, as soon as they take the handbrake off the engine cuts out. Obviously they can't start it back up again because the keys aren't in it. If it was me I wouldn't bother with a turbo timer, just go a bit quicker to your destination so it allows you to sit there for a couple of minutes while it cools down.
  6. Paint it with VHT paint so it doesn't rust?
  7. I think I would have gone sideways if I was driving how I used to. Luckily it only happened at low speed. It's a complete joke though, finally driving again and then this happens.
  8. Got the spare on so I could get home, going to order a couple of Toyo T1R's today.
  9. I finally got insured today, so it's been the first time I've drove in nearly 6 months, so obviously I was looking forward to it... I'd been out less than an hour and one of the fucking tyres goes! Good job I wasn't going fast. I have shit luck lately.

    Look What I Found

I'd drive that for a laugh.
  11. You think those lot are getting scammed? I'm getting quotes of £2k+ for a fucking N/A!
  12. Hopefully getting insured this week so should be back on the road soon. Going to give the engine a good running in.
  13. Yeah here's my old one: I love them in white, shame about my old one it was a minter.
  14. Cheers, definately can't complain at the price, it's a bit shabby but wont take me long to sort it out.
  15. Nah can't let my sister have a crappy looking Starlet, she might be tempted by a Poogeot again. I'll have some soonish anyway.
  16. They're all my old parts anyway.
  17. That's my sister's. I'm going to buy some soon anyway.
  18. Not really a fan of loud exhausts on low power cars, so just doing the bare minimum to this to make it atleast fun enough to drive until I can get the CRX out.
  19. Camshaft end seals are a common problem on Honda's, not hard to fix.
  20. Last month I bought another EP91, finally got round to giving it a clean, although it still looks pretty crap because it's not in the best condition, it's got fairly high mileage and a few scuffs, but of course the engine is still sweet and pulls very well. It's been a bit of a bargain car for £450 plus £50 for some wheels seeing as I let my sister have my old ones. Not much done Spec list: 15" 100+ wheels KYB New SR Special shocks TRD springs removed bump strips Plans: clear indicator lenses 'rolla manifold maybe a spoiler tidy up the bodywork new radiator maybe strut brace
  21. That Glanza is well and truely ruined but it amazes me that the people on this barryboys site have nothing better to do. There was one post I remember seeing of a pretty much standard Glanza and they made out as if it was a barry car. Lifeless twats.
