I was just screwing a bulb (one of those energy saving that apparently has mercury in them) into my lamp and the fucking thing broke in my hand. I've just read on the net that you shouldn't hoover it up (oops, that was the first thing I did) and to get out of the room for 15 minutes... Personally I can't see how it's so dangerous from just one bulb? Surely if it was that bad they wouldn't sell them? One website was saying if it's hoovered up you need to "dispose of the hoover" and not to get it on your skin, "wear gloves" (it fucking broke in my hand?). It all sounds a load of bollocks to

Funnily enough she's just made me look for some lowering springs for her. ;) I love how it's gone from her wanting a Poogeot 206, to a Starlet, to modding a Starlet.
-
It's completely normal, all injectors will "tick".

My sister bought a Starlet a few months back, she's not on here but I thought I'd post these pics up as we gave it a clean today (first time it's been cleaned since it was bought lol). Not really any mods just the wheels from my old Starlet. Only done 50k miles. In this first pic you can see my new Starlet in the background, need to get that sorted so I can get some pics of it! Really needs lowering.

Wierd you say that because there are three topics up in this forum about crashes.

Good job he's ok, but reading that has annoyed me! "Police have pressed no charges against him" ""Pot hole" CHARGE THE FUCKING COUNCIL

Nah fuck it, same with what happened to me, my theory was that if there wasn't a speed camera on that road I could have gone faster and gone past the junction before the old bloke could have even got there to pull out infront of me. Obviously I'm joking.

Get on it ASAP, the longer you leave it the worse it will be, plus these things usually take a while. It was 6-7 weeks before I recieved any money and that was a pretty smooth claim and I was told it was quick.

Anyone Got Anyfeed Back On.........
ste91 replied to silverglanza's topic in Intake, Turbo & Exhaust
Exactly, that's why I don't get it, all you're saying is look at me, I'm over fuelling! Whereas you could actually be going quicker. -
If you can be bothered to go through the insurance then the blokes insurance company should have to pay for the work to be done on your car.

I don't get the attraction with popping/banging/flaming? It doesn't make the car any faster, what's the point? It's understandable with older cars that run on carbs then obviously you aren't going to get a perfect fuel mix at all times, but on a modern car where the fuelling should generally be spot on, wtf? Asking if a particular exhaust makes a car "bang and flame" reminds me of induction kits where people think the air filter itself is what makes the noise. -
You wont lose your NCB for something that isn't your fault, you claim off the other persons insurance. Some old twat pulled out infront of me in my old Starlet last year and wrote it off, I kept my NCB and got £1100 for it.

The Enkei's look perfect on it, and will nicely show off whatever brakes you put under them.

I want a GT now you prick! ;)

Not updated this for a while, haven't took any pics either not much worth really taking pictures of. It's being a pain in the ass, the sunroof rack is being gay not working properly (it slides forwards and backwards fine but wont lift up and down). I sealed up the leaking back lights but then one of the fucking lenses has cracked. A wheel stud snapped. The sunroof has been an annoyance, the roof lining came out easy enough once I had the right tools though. I'm half tempted to just buy a bung and fuck the sunroof off. But I know I'd regret it if we ended up having a good summer. I'll be g

That's wrong; The EP95 has the same manifold as the Glanza S/Corolla. The earlier EP85 has the 1st gen 4EFE which has the same manifold as the 4EFTE. When you posted this on TGTT did you specify that it was for the N/A and not turbo, as they are mostly turbos over there, and the manifold from the Glanza S/Corolla isn't great on a 4EFTE.
-
EP95 mani should be the same as the Corolla one? And I'd like to know which numpty told you there was no gains with the Corolla manifold. ;)

A calender?

I've used Toyos before and for the same money I wouldn't use anything else, although there are always people saying Uniroyals are better but I haven't tried them so can't comment. I did a little write up on them it's in this subforum if you can find it.

The comments on that video are fucking stupid.

I'd have thought 205/45 or 205/40 would have been better?

LOL at going into B&Q and holding a box and taking a picture.
