Back pressure is a load of nonsense. Personally I wouldn't go for anything bigger than 3 inch as it's a small car with a small engine and it definately doesn't need a 4 inch backbox.

What sort of power are you aiming for? You might be better off with a different turbo depending on your goals, I'm assuming below 250bhp as you're runnning standard internals.

I've always considered FPR/FCD's lame, better to go for a piggyback or atleast a plug & play ECU. Also I've heard of T25's being used on B16's, surely it would be slightly laggy on a 4EFTE?

They will fit all EP91s aswell as EP82s.

I would give you my full opinion but I don't want to come accross as a twat.

As said just buy some spring clamps and do it yourself, it's not hard at all, infact there's a guide in the wiki section. £10 for some spring clamps is better than £120 for someone else to do it, which quite frankly is a fucking rip off (with labour at roughly £30 an hour it's not going to take them four hours when they have proper tools when it's possible to do in 2-3 hours with basic tools), plus then you have spring clamps incase you or your mates ever need some. It will take around 2-3 hours altogether depending on how stiff some of the bolts are, the back can be awkward to get to but it's a simple job. Along with the obvious top mount bolts there's just one bolt on each side on the back and two each on the front.

Haven't noticed the pedal "pulsing" but the braking does get worse yes, at low speed there is very little vibration, but at high speed it's quite bad. The pedal travel is bad too, gives you little confidence even in slow moving traffic if you get a bit close to the car infront. I'm hoping changing the discs and bleeding/changing the brake fluid will sort it out, but I have barely any money at the moment. The car is driveable but it's just shit having to allow such a long braking distance.

Possibly an air or fuel related problem?

Think I'll just get some new discs and have the alignment done then, should I see an improvement in braking with new discs or will it just get rid of the vibration? It's nothing to do with the wheels as I had two new tyres on the front last week. Could possibly be wheel bearings now you mention it.

The brakes on my EP91 are quite shit, there's a fair bit of travel in the pedal before anything happens, and then when they do start to work it's not very good, and at high speed there's a fair bit of vibration. Another thing is the tracking/alignment is a bit shit but I'm going to get that done soon. So what's causing the vibration and pedal travel? I'm guessing the vibration is either warped discs or the fact that the tracking is shit, OR worn bushes. The pedal travel I'm assuming is because the brakes need bleeding. The pads are fine, look fairly new actually. The discs on the other hand look pretty shitty.

Yeah, there's a few other little dints around it and a bit of rust on the passenger door but it's nothing major and shouldn't be too hard to get it mint again. I think it really needs clear indicators and a spoiler though. The main thing now is to get some new brake discs and sort the tracking out, it doesn't feel right at the minute and with shit brakes it gives you no confidence. Thought about a 5E aswell but I doubt that'll happen. It's only supposed to be a run around for a few months but now look what's happened.

A basic socket set is all you need as long as it's got a couple of different length extensions and one of those CV joint things you'll be fine.

You don't have to make anything up for the throttle cable just bend the bracket a bit and it's fine. It's a really simple job, if I end up doing it on my new Starlet I'll do a how-to.

Where do you live if you're local I'd do it for you but I'm guessing you're miles away. Seriously it's an easy job that can be done in 40 mins with basic tools. You don't need to take the fuel rail off, aslong as you've got a half decent socket set it's easy, you don't NEED that bracket either, the only vital thing is having a little bit of pipe to reach the air sensor.

You could always just change the head...
