  1. Why is everything a "who's got the biggest" contest with you? bellend and anyway, cars that are too low look crap IMO, if the tyres disappear under the arches then it's too low and looks silly but on the other hand, I hate saxos too
  2. No our Previa (automatic) idles at less than 800rpm. And it doesn't hunt either. As others have said it's probably the idle control, but I have heard that some engines hunt on idle when they're cold but you say it's when you've been driving for a bit... so it's doing it when it's warm (off "choke")...
  3. I only did the main GCSE's (English/Maths/Science) because I did a two day college course for the last two years of school (Engineering). I got a C for science (fuck knows how because I only did two or three science lessons in the whole of year 11) and shit for maths/english. But I didn't bother collecting the certificates anyway so basically I've came out of school with fuck all. School is utter bollocks (depending on what you want to do for a job/career).   7. Well I'm confused as fuck, on some online insurance things I've been on it shows the GT as being either a 1332cc import, or a 1298cc UK model... wtf is up with that? And one company it even said there was a GT turbo diesel :harhar: madness!

  12. lol skim-reading ftl didn't see it :harhar: As for the R&D, I'm fairly confident that they will turn out ok, even if you look at the aftermarket manifolds hardly anyone has tried them on the 4E, infact I can't think of anyone else other than you who has. And aslong as the price is around £200 then the price is still competitive with the OBX and Pacesetter manifolds.
  13. IMO the mani is the most important part of the exhaust system. I think most of us at some point WILL remove the cat but of course we need to be able to have the cat there for the MOT, if the manifold was to be too long that it needed the cat removing, what would happen when you need to put a cat in for the MOT? You'd have to chop up some of the mani to get the cat in! (Unless you move the cat further down the pipe). Also some of us don't like loud exhausts.   16. Get some vids up! I don't know about you lot but most 4EFE exhausts that I've heard have either been too loud or just sounded crap. I want to hear some nice quiet exhausts that have a good tone.
  17. Yeah but if you think about it, if the door had been weaker it could have been worse,you came off quite well considering what could have happened if it was some shitty car, the window could have shattered or anything. You gonna take legal action if they catch the prick who did it?

If you replace the door you've got to get the bump strip and door handle painted again so everything matches, aswell as the bit underneath the door. Atleast you were in a Starlet and not some French shit made out of paper and glue.
  20. I prefer the styling of Glanzas but can't justify the cost when you can get basically the same car for less and insure it for less and GT's aren't exactly bad looking...

  22. Yes that's the older generation, which I think is identical to the 4EFTE, it just has higher compression and no turbo obviously. I'm not sure if it's entirely straightforward but you might be able to hit two birds with one stone - if you can plug that loom straight into a 4EFTE ECU and then change the headgasket to lower the compression and add the turbo bits and injectors then it might be possible to do a fairly simple turbo job. But like I said I'm not sure, it might be more hassle than it's worth.
