thought id put this up so after all the drama with my starlet and not wanting to pay crazy money on insurance for my hyundai as a second policy( keeping the starlet insurance running) i managed to get a crazy cheap quote on an e30 bmw so the searching began and before long i became the proud owner of this little beast! its only a 316 but with this its all about the underdog drifter! plans are.... welded spare diff lowered 60mm front and back my starlet xxr 002 8j wheels put on temporarily yellow headlamp film yellow fogs and indicators crazy angled can front lip de badged rear stripped out interior custom strut braces. + lots lots more possibly throttle bodies or turbo convert the 316. 316 is staying!!!! ill be building loads of parts for this over the next few months. i intend on keeping the body work in tip top shape it will not become a tramp drifter more jdm influenced e30 updates will follow over the next few months comments welcome Dean

amber corners are such a little mod but make a big impact on the looks

deffo in a month or 2 if the starlets still broke ill come in a reliable car

these cars are really bad for over steer when stripped get some braces in there mines planted now a few years back my dad managed to spin it ffs lol

what was your oil pressure on idle?

haha lol bottom end is fine top end started knocking this time completely baffled taken it apart and literally no signs of what the problem is? suspected dreaded 5e low oil pressure? so pissed off every time i try to attend a meet i have a million problems

as far as im aware all the valve springs are the same had this talk with ian(dub7)

i soaked mine in wd40 then kept turning it for like 20 mins

free it off before you fit it! last thing you want is it breaking and killing your engine too
