  5. there orange bulbs with a silver coating so you cant see a big orange blob in your clear indicators. couple of quid off egay

  7. it is a right shame! but i'm happy to say i got one of the last rides in the beast before it when to it's new home also got a ride in the new remapped gti he has and that aint slow lol Bring on the new V!!
  8. i don't know alot about turbo's but the ct9B and A exhaust housing is the same the only difference between the to turbo's is the exhaust blade the B has one more then the A but swapping would be fine afaik if the seals are gone on the ct9A then when swapping over the exhaust housing it would be a good ides to replace the seals to
  9. thats why i asked if he had an uprated actuator, perhaps my answer didnt come across very well. but if the standard actuator is there can he not use the dawes device to control the boost level making sure it doesn't rise more then the stock 0.6 or whatever it is?
  10. what a dawes divice or an actuator? both are easy to fit
  11. if you get a hks or toytuing then yeah you can just turn down the boost via the actuator.

  13. do you have an uprated actuator? but yes a bleed valve will work but the one in the ebay link is wank lol and wont do an amazing job. get a dawes devices if anything that will hold a good strong boost level safely

  17. wow haven't seen this thread in a while!! lol I would ask some of the traders as they can send stuff over see's finding stuff in the usa might not be the easiest for the ep91. if you cant source anything over your way the only thing you can do is import some or order through a trader who would ship your way
  18. you might have trouble fitting a bmc filter as there isnt as much room in the turbo engine bay as a n/a but Worth a try. if you are keeping the filter in the stock location it's better to have the original airbox any way so if you are keeping it in the stock location for a while i would recommend getting an uprated panel filter as you would get better gains over an open filter in the stock location
  19. that's what they do buddy, now the box has gone it no longer muffles the sound. all open air filter make a much louder sucking noise as well it's an open filter. you should here my front located filter lol on idle i recon if i stuck my face to it i might get sucked in lmao!

  21. well is has a different comp wheel, and it looks like the intake has been shaved away to accommodate the larger comp wheel. are you sure your actuator is ok? might not be anything to do with the tubby, have you increased the boost on the ct9 you are running at the moment?

  23. well then what i think might be happening is that when the actuator arm tries to open the wastgate when the arm moves back the bolt is hitting the turbo housing and preventing the actuator from opening the wastgate- causing unlimited boost or 1bar and fuel cut? find a C or R clip and that should solve the problem, or if the actuator only has the hole type end adapter i would advise sourcing the normal ep91 end with the C clip. hope that help mate
