havnt monstor motorsport on tgtt just started stocking ultralite alloys? but yeah good choice, just mooch around ebay for JDM wheels there are a fair few but cant say it's the easyiest to source rare alloys lol i want bronze alloys to, getting fed up of allways having to clean bloody white wheels!

All the information you could wish for Jay is here buddy, there is some great advice but it is completly up to you to which direction you take but just remember the petential consequences of a FCD.

Rota do loads in 15"!! why do you think so many starlet/gt's have them on them plus obvioulsy being the right fitment. nothing wrong with Rota's i have them and love'm there have been cases of them almost like snapping, like a crack leads to say the spoke snapping and causing the wheel to colapse like, but as far as i know that has only been at a track (could be wrong tho)

you need a FCD(fuel cut defender) a RRFPR(rising rate fuel pressure regulator) at a minimum but i would be advised to get some kind of advanced fuel management e.g. Apexi SAFC it's been covered a million times just have a poke around in the technical section
-
^^ summed it all up, and just to let you no a ebc can not lower boost only raise it so set your actuator at something low like 0.5 then increase it on the ebc. if you want to run around the 200bhp mark which expect you do then i would invest in an emanage, you can set your FCD up but you will need a RRFPR so you dont destroy your pistons running lean. but there isnt much difference between running under fuel cut at 0.8 and running 1bar and potentially blowing your engine. i would wait be patient and invest in an emanage or as stated above get a SAFC and get it all set up together.

Ha Ha, that serves them right for having awful cars!
-
got the exact same filter/relocation kit, lovely stuff they are and sound awesome on boost!
-
yeah i would say realistically 170-180, also to the above question yes putting the very tiny ct9 at 1bar will decrease it's life. might last couple of weeks, months maybe a year depends on the condition of the turbo, but at 1bar for daily driving i cant imagine it would last to long.

is this the forged one that was for sale not to long ago? with the full recaro interior? looks lovely mate. -
depends on the condition of your engine and what you are going to use it for, if you want big power and your engine has done 80k i cant imagine it would last to long so in that case yes it would benefit from a re-build, but if it is just a daily drive and you arnt going to do to many mods then there wouldn't be much point. it all depends on what you want from it, do you want big power? or do you just want a daily drive? only you know what you want so just go with what you want, all the information is on this site just have a poke around
-
only forge the engine if you want big power i.e. tdo4 and upwards and want to run over 1.2 bar all the time. the standards FTE engine isnt bomb proof but they certainly ain't made of chocolate. porting the block isnt essential as having the turbo on the car it does all the work and would only see minimal gains(if it were n/a then porting would provide a bigger bhp gain), it would aid in air flow etc but shouldn't be at the top of your list unless you decide to rebuild the engine then you might as well while the block is out. again cams arnt the best mod to invest in to increase power, they

ANY 96' SPEC BUMPERS RUNNING FMIC?
Glanza_cl replied to 200sx-Starlet-Jay's topic in Lifestyle General
^^^^indeed otherwise you will have to cut a fair amount away, but there are tricks to it(if you don't have aircon) push the fmic up to the crash bar then angle the bottom of it as slanted as you can get it as it's the bottom sections which is causing people to have to muller there bumper, you might have to drill new holes into the metal connections thingy's but it's either that or cut a lot off your bumper. i'v still got about an inch i could go back but cant be bothered as it's there now lol. -
there are loads out there, it's all about what you like the sound of. go on you tube and have a nosey around until you find one you like the sound of.
-
^^^ indeed, you can get an uprated spring, but then again you could get a hks, or blitz which are a million times better.
-
that noise at 70 is the dump valve staying open because the spring is too weak to hold it closed. you wont loose bhp from porting the wastgate because all your doing is aiding the flow of air- if anything increasing bhp. the stock actuators are naff, get a hks one of ebay nd it will be with you in a couple of days, once fitted it will probably reduce your creep by half, but no completely solve it.
-
you basicaly file a few mm making the diametre of the wastgate bigger meaning more air can escape, some poeple DIY it and use a dremel around the inside and other take it to a professional and get it ported, mines been done but in this very cold weather it sill creeps 0.1 or so.
-
cold weather! that's just the way with these small turbos and the crappy small wastegates, nothing you can do really apart from port the wastegate or restrict the airflow into the turbo. also if it is going to 1bar are you not hitting fuel cut?
-
i didn't think T304 stainless was very good, could be wrong but looks fairly tidy, Dave at starletgtturbo.com also does a own brand exhaust which is very similar but better quality give it a look, there are also a few with the exhaust that can supply sound clips too.
-
ooo lovely coilovers, you wont be disappointed with those they are really good, put on the soft setting you can actually get a comfy ride! lol
