  1. this is a super crude way of doing it and can result in you just blowing your engine but... you need a FCD a RRFPR and an adjustable actuator or a EBC the FCD will remove fule cut, the RRFPR will add the extra fuel so you dont run lean and the Actuator or EBC will raise the boost level. IF DOING THIS IT WILL NEED SETTING UP ON A RR i highly don't recommend doing it this way but it is your car. people do it and dont have problems but they tend to add uprated fuel pumps and at least a AVCR to set some kind of fuel map
  2. you tried getting a hold of him on tgtt, Martina seems to reply to alot of peoples 'were is toby' threads
  3. very good items the sps manifold with alot of good feedback, don't go near autobahn they are shite.
  4. pm him lol, he is only a trader in tgtt so that is the only place to get one, unless you come across one second hand.
  5. i dont have a tt and havnt had any problems, just let it cool for 30seconds while you gather your crap inside the car job done.
  6. hey dude was good to meet ya, V had some realy nice stuff on it, was loving the custom sprayed cusco struts also loving the crazy black shit out the exhaust! lol
  7. Oooooo that car is awesome totally the best one there! Jag those pics are mint could have got more but i was freezing my tits off nd had to get back. when the police came it was awesome (not being kicked out) but it was like something from the fast and the furious every one jumped in there cars (pictures the noise of all the exhausts) and zoomed off out the exit. was really cool to meet people i didn't really introduce my self much but those i did meet were cool, had a good old nosey around all the cars to lol
  8. had a felling the new turbo might have had inspiration from a tdo4, looks awesome!
  9. lol, mine is being fixed as well but i got a 58reg new punto still slow as f*ck though!
  10. as said not a lot of difference really, gt is slightly lighter not noticeable though and its just looks really, what do you prefer the look of is what it is down to
  11. sounds good shame maya doesn't have the paint thing it pretty cool, i would have modeled the doors separate as well so all is well. how you going to model the wheels nd tires? a cool way to model tires (you probably all ready no this) is just layout a small plane or rectangle, you could at this point add a tire texture- perhaps uvw map it so it looks right, then add a bend modifier to that then just bend it round to form a circle and lay it over the modeled rim and play around with the verts etc.
  12. Adrian Flux, and it's purley my policy, haven't added my parents and no additional drivers.
  13. thats a good price buddy, i was 19 when i took out the policy now 20 and i pay £970 with 2ncb
  14. you say as comment 'thats what happens with cold tires' is that the spin out at the end? sounds pretty immense, bet that beast shifts something silly
  15. looks pretty neat to me there looks like a few niggerly bits in the mesh, but knowing what it is like they will be almost impossible to get perfect. did you model the doors separate? an awesome texture for cars is the car paint in max, i don't know if they have it in Maya but gives you the option to create metallic textures and add flake nd different tones
  16. i know there is quite a price difference but the race coated manifold does hold extra gains over the uncoated and for piece of mind i would get the coated one, there's a reason he doesn't like them and doesn't sell them
  17. basically all intercoolers will need minor adjustments unless you go for the blitz, or hks kits etc then bumper chopping will be needed, but to be fair i haven't cut to much off my bumper with the HDI kit: a bit will obviously be needed but the extreme chopping of the bumper is because the aircon is still in place. my aircon has been removed and could go back a bit i'm sure but i havnt bothered doing it lol
  18. best bet is to get them from speedvision on tgtt, he will be able to tell you the best ones to get, you defenatly dont need anything silly like 550's.
  19. on a forged engine you could run the hybrid at 1.2-1.4bar with supporting mods i recon you could see in the figures of 240bhp just bought one of these myself so if you get one and get it fully mapped, i would be interested in seeing the dyno graphs on a forged engine.
  20. Dam! just saw the other page about the guy who crashed into you, this must be the time of year for crashing into v's mine has been crashed into another v i know had a crash. well it's a good thing he claimed liability and all that, luckily for me the guy said it was his fault as well. just to let you know i got the engineering report through today and they said it will cost £1,121!!! madness for a new front passenger wing, wheel refurb and enlinement etc £440 was labour charges, so only get repaired what is totally vital otherwise they might right the car off.
  21. hhhmmm cant seem to find, perhaps ask geo, i might have dreamt it lol.
  22. no but i'm sure it says somewere let me have a nosy round
  23. locating the filter behind the fog or bumper can not loose any more power then the crappy efi pipe does, doesn't meshing the turbo void the warranty? not that anything will go wrong with these but better to be safe then sorry.
  24. you cant map the standard ecu you will need a rrfpr at a minimum to get it set up on
  25. dont buy cheep! you can if you want but you will only have to buy another in a week or two. you will see some nice benefits from just a decat- increase in torque and throttle response
