    Cleaning

The brand is Collinite, the one I recommend is 476S. It gives off a nice shine and its durability is far better than nearly all waxes on the market. It may seem expensive but it's an actual paste wax and I can guarantee if you do three layers of that every couple of months that tin will last you a LONG time. Here's where I get mine from: http://www.detailedobsession.com/catalog/p...;products_id=55 What I would recommend doing if you're looking for that extra shine is getting Dodo Juice Red Mist. Basically, this is the equivalent of what you're using wax for at the moment. Red Mist is used on top of wax and is an actual sealant, so whilst giving the wax added shine and depth it also puts an additional layer on top of the wax for protection. Can be found here: http://www.detailedobsession.com/catalog/p...products_id=240 Although the bottle seems small it's called "Mist" as it has a very fine spray that comes out and you only need to spray about 4-5 sprays per panel. A bottle that size would last ages if you were using it once a week after washing to just put a bit of added protection on to the wax layers. I hope that makes sense, let me know if you have any questions.
  4. Nice upgrades Chanelle, looking good as always.

    Cleaning

Why don't you just use a wax like Collinite? I use this and apply 3 layers every 3-4 months and it still beads and shines after each wash as though I had just applied a fresh coat. These waxes aren't durable at all, they only last a couple of washes meaning that you have the wax the car most weeks like you said. It was a bit painful to read this: only downside is your car has to be semi clean otherwise you wax over the dirt but i found a solution to this use meguirs scratch X to remove the stubborn grime and grease, then use the smart wax this leaves AMAZING results i own a white glanza and the amount of Firstly products like Scratch X should not be used frequently, and I certainly wouldn't be doing the whole car in it due to the way it works. It's made for getting rid of obvious scratches, not the swirls on an entire car. Using this frequently will cause long term problems with your paint. A car has to be 100% clean or else you're just rubbing any dirt that's on the car into the laquer which is then causing the swirls etc. Please don't feel I'm criticising, just purely trying to help you out. I have done a lot of research into the whole process and I'm trying to point people in the right direction. Nice to see another cleaning freak though.
  6. Sorry to hear about this mate, onwards and upwards though bud, once you realise how much fun boost is you won't regret it.
  7. Sorry to not be able to help with your answer, but can you stop typing like a chav please? Might help you get a response quicker aswell since it won't take about a week to read a paragraph. Thanks.
  8. I have a guide somewhere that did a really in-depth study into how well each filter works, a cheapo ebay one,and all other leading brands, Apexi came out a mile above the rest.
  9. Lovely! Keep it up with the progress and make sure you keep us updated.
  10. That made me cringe reading what happened, I hope you get it sorted and no more mesh!
  11. Shame on you to the people who said they don't mind the front and sides, it's all a bloody horrible mess!
  12. Seems to be associated to Calender files. See below for more information mate: http://filext.com/file-extension/CAL
  13. Lovely example there mate, you sound really enthusiastic about it and it reminds me of when I first got mine. I still love it just as much, if not more than the day I got it! As already said, try your best to come along to JAE next year, we will welcome you with open arms. (Quite literally!) See you around mate!
  14. Looked great and original at JAE mate, very impressive, keep it up!
  15. You too bud, your car looked stunning. Thanks mate, it was nice to meet you bud, hope you make it along for the TC Weekender coming up! Thanks bud That guy was a Class A gimp, he really did have no idea.
  16. Some great pics there mate. Chop the HONDA part off this and you have yourself a great picture:
  17. Why did you decide to leave?
  18. My apologies then, I was wrong, my bad.
  19. You set the actuator at the minimum you want the car to boost to, for instance you would have the actuator set at .4 bar and then any increase you make on the boost controller is then added to the .4 bar so turn it up until you reach it. Can you also please try and refrain from making new topics about everything, this could've gone in your 'Gizzmo In The Post This Morning ' thread.
  20. Bloody hell mate that ain't pretty! Hope it heals up quickly.
  21. Thanks bud, hope you have better luck next year!
  22. haha, that spray wax guy actually made my weekend. mate, 38438498 washes to buff some wax off yeah?
  23. Are you sure it's a tongs one? Looks a fair bit different to mine:
  24. Gutted to hear about that mate I hope you get it sorted easily. On the night before JAE last year I went to Sainsburys at about 10pm and some twat had pushed a trolley into my car which was parked at the top end of a sloped car park. Far too many wankers out there.
  25. To be honest, as it is 56kers would've settled in quite nicely in here. Good pics mate, that outfit was great, fair play to Woody he seemed to be wearing something extreme everytime I saw him. Get the rest of the pics up you lazy prick.
