  1. Wash, clay, wash, polish, glaze, sealant, wax.
  2. Got a day off, feel stupidly tired but can't be bothered to waste it by sleeping. My garage is a complete and utter mess and clogged up with parts from my car and my old one. I need to give it a good tidy and get rid of all the old car bits. (Nothing that will be of any excitement I'm afraid, unless anyone wants Zetec-S parts? After that I'm not too sure.
  3. Was really shocked to see this, looks a complete mess. Glad you came out ok mate, pretty devastating about Bourkey though I hope he pulls through and it doesn't have any long term effects for him. Dan Evans - While it's good to warn people about the dangers, who's to say he wasn't sticking to the speed limit (if it was national) and hit something solid? That could easily be the outcome.
  4. Fairy liquid is also acidic, and will slowly eat into the paintwork. Ugh, stop using it, right now. Also get yourself a good lambs wool wash mitt, fuck the chips and fosters.
  5. Wheels look nice mate, definitely needs slamming now though. How much were the nuts?
  6. ;) I've only got £50 at the moment mate, deal? BMT used to be on Thursday, me and 5 others at my last job didn't miss a week for over 10 weeks. ;) Please tell me it still exists. Please.
  7. Fair enough, but as rick had the bumper cut out for the FMIC, front lip and eyebrows along with that bonnet, imo it suited it more than standard 96. I'll happily be proven wrong though mate. ;)
  8. My white 96 Glanza with stock body parts had this bonnet when I got it, if I'm honest I feel the bonnet is too agressive for the 96 looks which is why I sold it. I then sold it to Rick who put it on his black 98 Glanza and it looked absolutely awesome. Just my opinion though mate, nice bonnet none-the-less, could just do with more agressive styling to go with it.
  9. Did you get any tags with it? My Zisco mani looks a bit bare atm.. ;) Tomorrow begins my 4 day weekend, gonna get up tomorrow, first thing I need to do is pop in to work (Great start!) for about 15 mins. Then i'll come home, wash car, take car for MOT, pray it passes, come home and decide what to do next. ;) The Subway discussion has left me rather tempted. Although, Ross, isn't it Italian BMT on Sub of the day today? As that is like, best thing ever..
  10. Also had the exact problems you describe mate, mainly on cold/damp evenings as these are when engines perform at their best. I installed a Blitz Dual Solenoid Boost Controller and I've got it set just below the limit to stop it hitting the cut.
  11. So JDM most Japs wouldn't be able to read it!
  12. Not heard of them, but without trying to tar everyone from Bradford with the same brush most of the cars that come from there don't seem to be as mint as you would like. I may be completely wrong, although I wouldn't personally buy one from there.
  13. Congrats, must be a surreal feeling. Bit strange that you haven't named him though, thought you kind of do that process beforehand? Have you been calling the baby 'it' for the last 2 days?
  14. I really like that, the wheels suit it nicely. Are they 16's?

    Gaskets

Hi mate, I need the following gaskets if possible: Head-Manifold Manifold-Turbo Turbo-Downpipe Downpipe-Exhaust Thanks
  16. Hi Shelly, the main problem seems to be the part where the subframe mounts on the car, they raise it up quite a lot. I have some aftermarket subframes on my Recaro's, I got a couple of pics of them for you. As you can see the part I'm talking about is flat, where yours are raised. If you can get them a bit flatter the seat should move down. Hope it helps in some way!
  17. Yeah, it will require a lot of patience, it's sodding hard though so it probably would involve whacking it! Yeah, that's my main concern, if I was to give it a shot myself and not have it right, then decide to take it to a company for them to see what they can do just for them to say, 'Well we could've fixed it before you screwed about with it..' Meh.. My bung for it arrived in the post today aswell, wonder if that'll ever fit now. I thought about that, I intially thought it was a lot "pointier" than it is, so it may be possible to try and bend it. Think I'm gonna get advice from an e
  18. Basically as the weather was nice yesterday I figured I'd find some good driving roads and give the Starlet a decent run for a change. Ended up accidentally making a wrong turning and ended up more or less offroad. (TomTom's and country roads don't mix well.) Next thing I know the rear of the car dips into a massive hole, which seemingly had a perfectly placed brick behind to smash into my exhaust. Rock 1 - 0 Nur Spec Now I need to decide whether to have a go at knocking the dent out myself (Most probably badly) or get it done professionally. Either way I'm more or less resigned to the fact
  19. If you got pulled over or worst case scenario, crashed and then said to the police/your insurers "oh, it's not my fault, it came like that." You wouldn't have a leg to stand on. On the log book mine isn't a Turbo, which I'm currently in the process of trying to get changed, I do however have it declared as a Turbo with the insurers and every single mod no matter how small declared. I bend over backwards paying for it, but it's one of those things. I'm only saying how it is mate, anyone could crash at any time, if you crash into someone and you're uninsured you might aswell say goodbye to dr
  20. I'd recommend buying a manifold from Keith @ Zisco, here is his trader page: http://www.ukstarletclub.com/forums/index....showtopic=16578 Bare in mind that the prices are in € and include all shipping fees and as Malta are in the EU you don't have import fees either. Very good mani's for the price and a pleasure to deal with.
  21. A would be the stock one in your GT previously.
  22. Don't you think that the car actually BEING a turbo is a bit more of a giveaway than a few vinyls? You do realise that if you crash, insurance will take one look at your car and void your insurance? Right now your car is technically uninsured. Do the right thing and insure it properly, if you can't afford it, don't have it.
  23. Hmm, must try harder next time! Yep, it was a Calibra. Now.. Who can guess what it is now? (This could go on for a while )
  24. I figured I had to post this somewhere. Can anyone figure out what this once was?
