1. Looks like a nice example mate, how much are insurance robbing you with you being 19 though? Could you please update your location field in your profile so that members know where you're located. Thanks.
2. I seriously need to find a road like that, looks absolutely amazing mate.
3. Looks like a good laugh, that video is quite funny. I wish I could see his reaction though. Why was he just sat there? Also, what does the Fiesta have to require a bonnet scoop?

G'day

Looks like a really clean and smart example that mate. Could you please fill in your location field on your profile when you get a moment. I hope the car serves you well, I'm sure it will!
5. Good stuff mate, get some pics up. £3500 sounds like a fair bit these days but if you're happy and its a minter that's all that mattes.
6. Loving the new parts mate really looking forward to seeing this progressing.

Hellooo

Welcome aboard! Please fill out the location field and any others in your profile you may of missed. You'll find lots of useful information here about Starlets which I'm sure will be of help. Look forward to seeing you around.
8. To ALL members It's time for UKSC to take a step in the right direction and start becoming strict with the Classifieds section. Recently there have been a few reports of deals that haven't really "gone to plan" so to speak and we hope that by enforcing these rules that sales transactions will run smoother. You all may have recently noticed that we have now added the 'For Sale Template' which looks like this: For sale: Item Condition: Price and price conditions: Extra Info: Pictures: Contact Details: Location: Delivery & Conditions of Delivery: We require ALL fields in this to be properly filled out to reduce the chances of anything potentially going wrong for any members and to make the UKSC trading community as safe as possible. A price MUST be added and any form of bidding will NOT be tolerated. When pictures are posted we require pictures of the ACTUAL item that you have, no excuses as everyone has access to a camera these days. The reason we ask for the picture of the actual item is that things may be visible on the photo that the seller may not realise that the potential buyer may be able to spot. Please be as honest as possible in your item descriptions. Sellers please make the effort to include all of this information because not only will it boost your chances of a sale, it gives the buyer a much better peace of mind and make them feel a lot more confident about what they're buying. If these rules are not adhered to then appropriate action will be taken. Any abuse or threats from sellers to buyers will NOT be tolerated on this site. If this has happened to you please get in contact with an active member of the moderating team and it will be dealt with confidentially. We hope you are all enjoying the nice weather and keeping your Starlets (And others!) looking immaculate. The team will be keeping an eye on all trading activities to ensure the UKSC trading environment is a safer and pleasant one. Thanks, Bill (UKSC Team)
9. I honestly do think this is one of the best looking cars I've ever seen, I could stare at it for hours. Did you buy some metal polish mate? You don't have to work it in for hours but it'll give them quite a bit more of a shine from minimal effort. Give it a shot, only costs a few quid over here.
10. Nicest rims you've had on your car in my mind. Always good to have some true JDM ones and not some rip-offs aswell.
11. Exchange rates are a mess right now mate, I doubt you'd be able to get them for anywhere near 250.
12. Um, it's a Starlet, if that's the only rattle you have to worry about consider yourself lucky.
13. Seen a few of videos of these all over the world, so I doubt it's a JDM one sadly. There was one at a Jeep show a couple of years ago in America. Still, very impressive.
14. Basically as Bluebear says, just catches any oil that comes out, unlike a breather which just pisses it all over the rocker cover and surrounding areas. I've seen a couple of people with them and they've not had even the slightest bit of oil in them after a few months of use.

Celeb Rant

I didn't mean that you said she deserves it, I've heard too many "jokes" regarding this lately and it's made me feel for the subject a bit. I don't really read the papers much any more, given up on them completely, from experience the type of ones that are interested in stories of a D-list celebrity on her death bed are the kind that aren't really worth the time anyway! Much worse things are happening in the world right now that should be highlighted more than this, but I guess her time must nearly be up so she might aswell get the attention while she can. One of those things mate that no amount of moaning from people will change, the media will always love a story like this. Sad but true, that's the way things seem to be now.

Celeb Rant

I think it's pretty disgusting the way she's been treated personally. I say fair play to her the media are always hunting for stories she's just feeding their hunger. If she wants to let her family have a better life for the future then good on her. Maybe she did get famous by getting her tits out on Big Brother, but I bet there's a million other women that would do the same to get famous in this world. Thick and a twat she may well be, but noone deserves to die from cancer in my mind.
17. I was about to come in and say I'll definitely be coming and I'll bring Rick along, but it looks like he got there first. Nandos and lateness obviously.
18. Here's an idea:
19. I did a Google search on the numbers mate, I got a site in Swedish (or similar) and it said Toyota Carina 1993 in the title.
20. They look a bit buckled to me mate. Nah, I like them, the more non-Jap cars that have Rotas the better, hopefully we can slowly filter them out.
21. Good luck with the new site and name Dave, I feel the site looks a lot more professional and provides customers with a lot more information than before. Definitely a step in the right direction and I imagine you'll have a lot more appeal for all sorts of Toyota owners now too, not necessarily Starlet ones. Best of luck to you mate.
22. Bilberry wheel cleaner would be perfect for those mate, it's non-acidic too. You wouldn't be able to buy it off the shelf though, plenty of detailing shops sell it over here, I have no idea how likely you are to get it in NL. Use the Bilberry to remove as much crap as possible, maybe some good tar remover too, then polish them with Autosol metal polish.. Hope that helps!
23. Can Cal have his own stand?
24. Happy Birthday mate! How expensive are those sweets! I wish I ate less when I was a kid now. Best check the sell by dates.
25. I'm in the same boat as you at the moment, I've done quite a bit of research. Here's what I've gathered... HDi - Far too big in my mind for the 96 bumper, you have to cut away a rather large amount and personally I'm not looking to go down that route. That said though, I've heard pretty much nothing but praise from people who own them. £300 Blitz - Seems to be the 'middle' choice, it has a medium sized core so minimum bumper cutting and means you won't have an excessively large chunk of metal in your bumper. Downside to this is that the piping passes in front of the manifold so would be affected by the heat generated from that. That said, someone made custom pipework over on TGTT with a 90 degree bend and a few small alterations, he said he removed over a metre of unnecessary piping and it didn't run in front of the manifold. £730 Japspeed/Autobahn88 - Replica of the Blitz kit, cores are identical and pipework is made out of slightly different materials. From what I have been told these kits might aswell be near identical to the Blitz, and being £500-odd cheaper, are clearly the better choice. Each one seems to have a small downside, for the Japspeed it has 90 degree piping from the core and I have been told the Autobahn has the dump valve hole on the hot pipe. I doubt either of these would have much effect unless you were aiming for really high power. Japspeed can be picked up for £250, Autobahn £300 GReddy - Seems to be the best choice, very hard to come by second hand and new will set you back over £800 I've not really seen any of the newer ones pop up second hand and chances are if it did it would be snapped rather quickly. Seems to have a good sized core and as already stated the best piping. I hope that helps a bit, it's just thing's I've picked up on my searches, please people correct me if I'm wrong as I'm doing it off the top of my head whilst half asleep!
