Bilberry wheel cleaner would be perfect for those mate, it's non-acidic too. You wouldn't be able to buy it off the shelf though, plenty of detailing shops sell it over here, I have no idea how likely you are to get it in NL. Use the Bilberry to remove as much crap as possible, maybe some good tar remover too, then polish them with Autosol metal polish.. Hope that helps!

Can Cal have his own stand?

Happy Birthday mate! How expensive are those sweets! I wish I ate less when I was a kid now. Best check the sell by dates.

I'm in the same boat as you at the moment, I've done quite a bit of research. Here's what I've gathered... HDi - Far too big in my mind for the 96 bumper, you have to cut away a rather large amount and personally I'm not looking to go down that route. That said though, I've heard pretty much nothing but praise from people who own them. £300 Blitz - Seems to be the 'middle' choice, it has a medium sized core so minimum bumper cutting and means you won't have an excessively large chunk of metal in your bumper. Downside to this is that the piping passes in front of the manifold so woul

Voted for this aswell, a bloody hard month to decide but the sheer perfection of this picture made it stand out that little bit more.

I absolutely love the styling of it, looks so mean. There's one round my way, it's on German plates, I think it's something to do with the Dunton centre being near me. I saw the new Fiesta, KA and FRS on German plates before release, so I guess it's more than a coincidence. This one is in the blue colour though, and doesn't look anywhere near as nice as the white or green.

Item exactly as promised and quick delivery. Highly recommended! Cheers mate.

Welcome along mate, sounds like you've had some rather interesting cars!

Absolutely stunning bud.

Very interesting! Nice of you to offer help via PM for other people who are interested in doing the mod. Why not make a post up here so everyone can see it publically rather than having to message you every time?

What is the difference between a Starlet GT & a Glanza?

I thought these only existed on TGTT? -
Good to see this still moving on so well mate, great progress. Absolutely love the car and nice to see an immaculate Starlet.

Why not head to somewhere else and get a few hours instead of being kicked out when they tell you to?
-
Not really sure of the point of them to be honest, so I guess it all goes down to personal preference.

Car gets washed most weeks, clayed, polished, sealed, glazed and three layers of wax once every 4-6 months, top up wax every couple of months As for engine, check fluids most times that I go out, oil & filter about every 5k.

I'd make sure you go over this with the tester before hand and make sure they definitely knows the laws surrounding it. I've seen many people on here say they've failed emissions tests, but as people have stated it should've passed due to no UK equivalent.

You might want to give us a bit more info on the car if you want our advice. As Joz says you can go into our Wiki's and technical parts, you will learn a lot about them in a short space of time. Where did you buy the car? What year is it? Fresh import? Any service history? The more time you spend giving us information the better the response you will get, posting up some pics would be a good start.

Was that the less chavvy alternative then? :surrender:

Hope this never happens to me, and sorry to hear it happened to you bud.

I might add NSFW in the title, there's me thinking it'd be harmless to eat my lunch while browsing UKSC.

I got a tax rebate today, and it wasn't a scam. Needless to say the Starlet will be getting some toys this month.
