  1. Hey Sparkles. Thats a pretty hard fortune to tell lol. The only owner I believe who has the same car as you is Jay who made it into a turbo trackstar. Hopefully he will be along to give you some pointers. But its still a car so will have all the associated problems with age and not being looked after properly, which Im sure you'll do a good job of In an n/a you just need to maintain your oil levels, coolant and radiator fluid/water levels etc to keep running healthily. If you are in doubt get a friend of mechanic to give the car a good looking over and underneath. With the age worn bushes or joints maybe present. Thats just a few things to think about. If she can pass an mot then she is more than healthy at present. Joz

  5. Thats shit man. Hope you can restore it to former glory. Not nice when something that was mint is violated. Joz
  6. They give you a LOT of fade before coming to a stop, which takes some time also if coming down from higher speeds. The brake pads do seem to last, but will be destroyed by aftermarket discs i.e grooved. Joz

  21. Hi Sue Welcome to UKSC. Its great that you are interested in buying yourself a Glanza, you have certainly come to the right place to find out more about them Everything you need to know about these great cars and more are within our humble forum. I can tell you that they give great performance for a 1.3 turbo and their tuning potential is great and reliable when looked after. If I told you the rest that would take all the fun out of it There is also a healthy Starlet scene in Scotland so you are not alone. The Glanza is known as an EP91 (1996 - 1999) (its chassis model) so if you see all this talk of EP, it means the model codes of starlets. The older shape 1990-1995 is known as an EP82 and is just as nice. Feel free to browse the general section and technical section and you will find your answers as a lot of first time buyers have asked similar questions and useful info was given to them There are things to be careful about when buying and inspecting a new car. Also finding suitable insurance can be difficult if you dont know where to look. people will be along with some more info soon, Im off to the gym Enjoy! Joz
