The fenders do take a bit of getting used to bro as they are out of the ordinary but I think they fit in well. 5 spokes indeed bro! No rush on the UKSCNI meet but hopefully we can all hook up again when the time is right. Same with your your parts too man. Thanks for your support. Joz -

Thanks for all the supportive comments ;) They are indeed the mc_chu fender specials I hope to update again a little after the new year. I just love this project so Im no way stopping now Seasons Greetings everyone. Joz -
Be quiet Coupe' boy ;) As the man above says, you would only really feel an improvement in handling when you really push the car to its limits say on a track or very spirited driving (which is not really recommended but happens). There is always this misconception about 'handling'. You also don't have to be going that fast to have great handling, you could be on a very tight circuit with low speed limit of say 50 that would really push your car to the limit and you would need good driving skills. Winter 2007 Update I've decided to release part of my update otherwise I will get behind. I've been busy since the last update and have added some choice support parts to the engine, namingly a Section Engine Damper, TRD engine mounts and Earls red braided clutch line. Here is what you get with the engine damper. The TRD engine mounts when they were waiting to go in. I will get some photos of the engine bay soon so that you can see the engine damper fitted as well as the red braided clutchline. Arriving after a two month wait from Yahoo Japan was a set of 15" 57C Gramlights. And some -
Hi Mike Check the Technical Archive as there are an abundance of detailed answers on strut braces and bolt-on suspension components in particular. Technical Archive Chassis & Suspension Section Thanks Joz

You could have just said so in his thread TinTin ;) Have to admit they are very nice and shows how 18's should be done on an EP. Joz

Think more about how you are gonna insure it first man. Its easy to go and get an FTE and transplant it, and get someone to do the wiring. Its the insurance thats more important. Get a decent quote in the bag then do everything you want with peace of mind. Thats the way forward mate. Joz

Nice work Idrees. Excel-G's are made by KYB. Joz

Hi Mikey and welcome to UKSC. Do you drive a starlet at present or are thinking of investing in one? Joz
-
RareRims Envy Performance Rota Direct eBay Yahoo Auctions Japan I would go for something different mate to suit your starlet. Jap wheels are much nicer, but thats a preference of choice. More than enough choice, be sure to ask if they have starlet fitment. PCD 4x100, ET35-40 (38-40 preferable), 6.5J or 7J wide is fine. Joz

At least test the link after u posted it TinTin! Will be good to see 8k mate. Joz

Yea mate lol that rear window is a bastard to tint, only pros can do it really. My mate sorted the two rear sides, but the rear wasnt having it. Glanza plate surround will look sweet. Joz
-
I get all my work done by the bodyshop, but I told its a combo of spoiler glue/bond and bolts. The glanza one from memory is bolted on if Im not mistaken. Joz
-
Yes mate, sounds like the wire method is the best way. Just gotta be careful of the boot lid paintwork. There must be a specific wire you can buy for this situation? Joz

Happy days Chef! Looking forward to the new goodies. Joz -

Hey Dan This is a tough one. My old tte spoiler was bonded on tight, and the only way to get it off was to literally cut/snap it in half. I was pretty pissed at the bodyshop, but that was the only way. I upgraded to a glanza spoiler. One last hope is to ask Idrees as he has experience taking factory starlet spoilers off that were not bolted on. Joz

I propose you make this a poll stevie. We ain't had one for ages lol! Joz

Welcome back mate! Any chance of gettin those photos up lol! Joz
