  5. I gave up already lol Not since Gaz posted that score lol Joz
  6. I use the uprated option and for me its not good enough when braking down from higher speeds or upon corner entering. 3g 10 Groove, mintex 1144 pads, braided lines, Dot 5.1, cusco bmcs. Hence Im switching to twin pots for that 'extra' assurance and braking control on tap. Joz
  7. Nice work Idrees. A few steps closer to becoming complete. Bodywise anyway Joz
  8. Marc wants efficient braking for an eventual 190+bhp. He want to know if uprated discs (20groove) uprated pads, lines and dot 5.1 are gonna be good enough for that. The other option is twin pots (ae111, ae101) but he doesnt like the effort/cost involved in sourcing the parts, longer wheel studs, resized rotors etc, want its outta the box. I told him it would be very worth it to go for the twinpots for a better (+ more powerful) solution, to match the performance. The uprated route is very good and sufficient but you can do much better i.e the twinpots being an upgrade I would class as stag
  9. Nice top Idrees. Can't beat a bit of custom clothing. Joz
  10. She sounds in good health then At least you passed your test, thats the main thing. The real journey starts on the road. Take care Joz
  11. My first go lol Think I can do better tho Cool game tho... Whats the best you ever got Sparkles? Joz
  12. Hey Sparkles. Thats a pretty hard fortune to tell lol. The only owner I believe who has the same car as you is Jay who made it into a turbo trackstar. Hopefully he will be along to give you some pointers. But its still a car so will have all the associated problems with age and not being looked after properly, which Im sure you'll do a good job of In an n/a you just need to maintain your oil levels, coolant and radiator fluid/water levels etc to keep running healthily. If you are in doubt get a friend of mechanic to give the car a good looking over and underneath. With the age worn bus
  13. Welcome to the site Sparkles. Nice to see an n/a EP80 in the ranks Hope you enjoy your stay. Joz
  14. I've heard of this starlet too as I got a mate who lives in Saintfield. They always thought it was me but nah lol. Was it glanza kitted? Joz
  15. Nice work Jag. Looks tidier with the clear lenses. Keep it up mate. Joz
  16. Thats shit man. Hope you can restore it to former glory. Not nice when something that was mint is violated. Joz
  17. They give you a LOT of fade before coming to a stop, which takes some time also if coming down from higher speeds. The brake pads do seem to last, but will be destroyed by aftermarket discs i.e grooved. Joz
