  1. Get it back on the track, then you can call it a real weapon ;) Glad you're enjoying the seats man. Joz
  2. Getting the EP back from the bodyshop who sorted out a few things and cleaned her for mot. Will be nice to brighten things up a bit in here with a few snaps Joz
  3. Thanks guys, things are really coming together now. Just need the TC bits to arrive as there was a mixup at the depot, should be sorted now. Hope everyone had a happy halloween. I was working as frigging usual lol. Peace Joz
  4. Now that would be telling I collected the head today personally, the guy deals a lot with all the local rally cars etc so really knows his stuff, to say I was enlightened and educated in 10 mins is an understatement Here's some photos of what I had done. Reshim - Had all the shim buckets reshimmed so cost me a lil more but expected for a good job. I also took the liberty to hook the itbs onto the head to see how the fit was. The runners seem a bit long so will have to be modded seeing as space is limited especially if I want velocity stacks and maybe an airbox. These are DIY remember
  5. Let us know how you get on mate. Joz
  6. Get the alignment done first mate and give them some time so u can get used to them. At least give them the doubt that they need setting up, an adjustable panhard would do well too. It can be a shock jumping from stock to coilys, they aint for the faint hearted or casual driver. Sacrifice comfort for handling? You bet. Plus to get the best out of them, they need to be pushed. Joz
  7. I wont answer that if you mean the whole engine build, but for the actual reshim job he initially said £50, but with the added time etc around £70-£80 which is more than fair enough. Joz
  8. Thanks again man! I had better learn the language and move over lol. Peace Joz
  9. As Keirz said, dont put all your eggs into the basket of the next chick who comes along. Enjoy life and your youth man. Peace Joz
  10. Wallace you dont understand how much your photos have enlightened me mate. Very well taken too, did you use an SLR throughout? If I can take any snaps half as good when I go I will be well happy lol. Thanks very much for sharing with us. You really are the man!! Joz
  11. Sure will Si. Just got off the phone and my head will be ready tonight. But because I dont wanna rush around I'll just collect it tomorrow. He said it was time consuming because each clearance has to be measured individually for each shim. He also said he does it his way to make sure everything is perfect. The cams were also a bit tight so he machined a bit off some of the cam retainers. All thats going through my mind is "sexy time, sexy time" :D Joz
  12. This is a tough one to answer Gal. All I could recommend is the same steps that the other enthusiastic 4EFE owners have taken and maybe the ignition timing advance (only if you know what you are doing) as essentially they are both very much the same engine bar the taller engine block, a few sensors, different ecu and different compression ratio. It isnt really anything too special but the extra 15bhp and added torque is refreshing. I can't think of any that would be free or cheap so to speak. You have seen what Im investing in and its not an ideal path if you have a low budget. You also hav
  13. Mine must be the boring us version then lol. Should have an update on the head today, they are still working on it. Joz
  14. Have you got this fitted mate? Thats the whole point of this topic after all Joz
  15. Thanks RME1 ;) I just got plain instructions with a few photos mate. Yours seems like a proper proper Exedy Racing Clutch, those instructions are so mad. All the best with yours too. Joz
  16. Nice work Gal. I've moved this to Alignment & Alloys for now and made it a pinned topic that wont be closed so people are free to contribute wheels not covered especially with all the new styles about too. Please only post if you have a contribution to make so that we can keep on topic or it will be cleaned ;) Cheers Joz
  17. ;) They aint called Sustec Pro for nothings... They certainly will sort the back out mate Just make sure to keep them regularly maintained (i.e clean to avoid corrosion) as the elements here are somewhat harsher than Japan. Mine need a good ol' clean up. All the best with them, they are a worthy purchase. I actually fancy a change a lil later but you will find the spring rates quite bearable (4kg front, 6kg rear) I know this because my set had the manual. My set was around the same price. Once you have them set up properly and on good-ish roads, my description is 'hot knives through but
  18. Nice buy Rich. I also have a set of those. You will find they are quite bullet proof but dont lower as much on the front, lowering on the back can be maxed. Roll on the fitting. Joz
  19. Its nice to see this Jimmy. Very clean example you got there. And of course lovin the Gramlights. Please keep us updated on this Toyo. Joz
  20. Please try and post in the right section Jay. Also have a good read in here. NA Engine Discussions Most of your answers are covered and some of the modifications you have asked about exist but are mainly custom or havent been used by many members on the site. Also the 4AGE 20V conversion was in Big_T-SR's EP91, check out his thread for more info. Please make more effort to find the information before posting, this applies to all. Thanks Joz
