Hi, ive just done a compression test on my gt as its running rough. The results were 1) 80 psi 2) 80psi 3) 170 psi 4) 170 psi could this be headgasket as there are 2 cyclinders down, most unlikely for 2 sets or rings to of gone, isnt it? Jack

I have 55 profiles on mine and they're fine, good handling, and supose to be more comfortable than the smaller profiles, my speed ratings are 'V' i think if thats any help to you. As for price i would probaly go the most expensive that you can afford. Jack

Ive done this conversion, it only took about days worth of work, but make sure you have all of the parts need, i know that sounds silly but when i did this i found at the end of it all i didnt have the turbo MAP sensor and the extrenal ignition amp. so planning is a must. As for looms i just had the 4e-fte engine loom with ecu and wired it into the 4e-fe dash loom. Jack

Its alot easier to put the 4efte in than turbo the 4efe, because most of the internals are different between the two engines, it only took a few days to get my 4efte in and running. Just my 2p's worth Jack

Right, Turbo, manifold and decat are all off the car now, the manifold has an unbeliveable crack going around the inside where all the pipes go into one also the wastegate is cracked and the shaft has alot of play for such a small turbo, so this upgrade is well needed. Now ready to start mocking up the new manifold tomorrow. Will get pics up when i can find my bluetooth thing. Jack

Update. Firstly sorry for the lack of pictures and updates, but they will be coming. So far whats happened since the conversion is, ive got a de-cat, blitz ebc, blitz bov, cusco front brace, catch can and grooved discs and red stuff pads. Now good news and bad news Bad news is that the turbo has let go The good news is that im putting a T25 on by the end of the week, me and a mate are starting to make the manifold on wednesday and when thats done bolting her up and away i go again. My mate has an 'N' reg glanza that wont start, ive read the codes and it come up with 22- CTS. can anyone tell me what 'cts' means. Also it will start when he holds his hand over the tb complety blocking air from coming in, and as soon as he take his hand away it stalls. List of mods are hks acutator, hks hi power, apexi air filter, fmic and still have the standard cat in place. Can anyone help. Jack

i cant say anything about that exhaust but camskill is a very good shop, i got my blueflame from them and it came within a few days.

Grooved and drilled discs should be fine, as for pads im going for EBC red stuff, most of my mates run them and say they are good even from cold and low brake dust Jack

Can anyone tell me what colour the wire is for the water temp at the back of the speedo cluster? Jack
