    Still not sorted, but was thinking about it, does the outer shielding need to be connected? is it an earth or anything like that?

    Before anyone says, ive read loads of old post with the same problem, but nothing they suggested have fixed it. I have read the codes, and i says the signal from knock sensor or something like that. Ive tried a second hand sensor, didnt work. ive found a break in the wire, ive soldered it, then was told this changes the resistance of the wire, so i tried a bullet conector, but still no better. Ive run out of ideas now, any help? Jack
  4. I was never to sure on white GTs but ive changed my mind seeing yours. My paddle clutch is ok, but when i come to change it i want be putting one back in, driving around towns abit of a nightmare. Jack

  6. There are always ct9 turbos for sale fairly cheap from people who upgraded like you. But like ste91 said, your should be fine if its all running ok. Jack

  8. I didn't need to take to bumper off, but it could make it easier I did mine on a lift. But asmickey boy said thebunpers easy toget off on an ep91 never taken it off my gt yet. 2 screws at the front in the lower grill, 2 under the bumper, 1 in each corner in your wheel arch, will have to move the arch liner alittle to get to them.   9. The way I've done it in the past is to line up the corners of the spliter with the corner of the bumper then cut the overlap in the middle, because I found it hard to bend the spliter around the bumper. Hope that makes sense. Jack
  10. I had this same prblem on my 'R' reg sportif, all i had to change was the carriers, because the glanza discs were a little biggger. Jack

  14. Hi, ive done a few searches but cant find what i need. Whats the diameter of springs on tein ha coilovers? Im trying to get different springs to change the set up but dont know how big they are. Jack
  15. I had those on my turbo sportif, they stopped fine, but where abit noisey when braking hard. Jack
  16. You must be using the standard top mounts then? Im sure it will be fine with 3 studs, but most aftermarket top mounts like cusco have 4 studs. Jack
  17. Its going back together now, its all done apart from the turbo, rad, a few plugs and 2 engine mounts. should be finished tomorrow, which is good as my 'cheap run around' had given up on friday... bloody renaults lol Jack

  19. Just a quick update. Headgasket, cambelt and a new thermostat have turned up, still waiting on the enigne mounts. The head is still away get the porting and polish done, im hoping to get it all back for next weekend. I'll post some better pics up when its all running again. Jack

  23. I dont think its that bad, just sounds like a slight mifire. still its an excuse for more upgrades, getting a bit of porting and polish done whilst its off. I wanted to get the head off today but its raining again, ive got the turbo side of things off, just got to wait till it stops raining. Jack
