  1. Cheers for that lee mate.. On a side note, is there any list on here or somewhere of parts that are the same as a UK N/A EP91 ? It seems if you put the word Glanza after starlet people start charging high prices for parts that you can get for an N/A at half the price or more. Ta
  2. Ive got a bit of a knock coming from the passenger side front somewhere. Took it to a friend who repairs cars and said it could be the tie/track rod end. Reason he said this was that any bump or groove in the road, the car tends to pull towards when driving. Its not a massive problem but something that needs doing. What do you guys think ? ive not had chance to get the wheel off and look, if i did would i notice or see what it was ? Are there any tips you can give on how to find out exactly what is knocking, the problem i have is i have a very small budget so dont want to buy something tha
  3. Jealous of u and all your buying .. proper little rocketship now matey . Love it !
  4. Well it happens on mine and its fairly standard.. Was told that if u bypass the Hi/Lo solenoid by swapping the pipes that this gives u a small increase in boost.. Unfortunatly this was just a little bit too much for mine and it does fuel cut sometimes in this weather.. fine in the summer tho .. Ive only got exhaust/BOV/Airfilter.. nothing else really.
  5. Ive had a go at 1 and my car is standard pretty much.. Stock boost etc .. Kept up with it most of the way but past 70 the bigger engine helped..
  6. I downloaded a documentary the other day called "Ancient Aliens" .. Deffo worth a look..
  7. Well my car hit 130 with the Blitz ECU and at about 5500 rpm.. and got up there quite quick.. now without it, it takes ages to get anywhere near it..
  8. hmm.. tuff question... but a start would be : Decat Mani Full SS system Adjustable actuator And either an upgraded ECU like a Jam/Blitz/ etc or an Emanage. Could run 1 bar then and it should fly
  9. yea the viper was my 2nd choice.. has a pager too right ? These are both gettable for £300 ish mate i imagine.. and both great alarms.. Im not sure but the clifford may be a bit more expensive.
  10. Ive got a Toad Ai606 and its awesome.. cost me £250 fitted.. alarm goes of if you even try and jack the car up a tiny bit.. I think this 1 also works with Turbo timers and im sure you can add remote start to it..
  11. Thanks for the input people I have been toying with the idea of taking them off but thought id wait until i got my glanza stickers back on the rear quarters.. As for the lights.. in my opinion i think they look pretty mean..and not over the top chav style.. to be honest ive not seen another car with them on around here.. ive not had chance to get a pic yet but they are in a straight line under the lights between the bumper and the headlight.. and they also go well with the HIDs so when on main beam are hardily noticeable so dont stand out silly.. Again thanks for the comments and hopefull
  12. Its been a while since i posted on my car so heres a lil update.. pics hopefully to follow later 2nite. Ive got myself some nice gold Glanza stickers for the rear quarters now they still need to go on when its a nice dry day and also a nice new door handle to replace the 1 i snapped in the winter .. Also got myself a set of R8 style LED lights which i think look awesome.. And finally ive got a blitz SUS filter and Blitz Bov... As i said ill try and get some pics up later today of the lights

  22. Sorted.. it was the pipe collapsing on itself as it was soft and cheap.. Now im happy.. Thanks to CL and Wallace for the tips..
  23. Well i have now seen the bov running on the guys glanza so i know 100% its not that.. Have now re-routed the boost gauge pipe to another vacuum pipe. Im half thinking it could be the pipe i used.. Being halfords cheap stuff its very soft so maybe it was "squashing" together therefore blocking it in effect. hopefully see the guy later and will give it another try with some sturdier pipe ive got.. fingers crossed peeps.. £70 for a genuine blitz
  24. Just had a browse around the web.. Could it be possible that my vacuum pipe diameter is too large ? therefore not creating enough pressure ? i found that with a turbosmart bov on a starlet the pipe used is a 6mm into a 5mm.. Hmm maybe worth a try tomorrow if i can find some 5mm pipe.. The pipe im using currently is some cheap halfords rubbish and is probably 6mm min.. more like 8mm i think.. Hopefully that is the problem.. I didnt know that the vac actually was a large part in how the bov worked lol.. Im guessing it helps pull up the piston by "sucking" it from the other direction to the efi
