Looks really nice bud, door looks a tad out of colour, its gagging to be lowered......loving the battery strap too. Is that a bit of over spray on the bumper (alloy pic).......as for the tech questions i dont have a clue, mabe wait for some of the experienced people get here...but my na idles under 1000 around 750 or so but never cuts out. mabe your throttle position sensor is shagged?, just a guess

haha i get that from 2-3 or 3-4 but thats just me being lazy and not putting enough effort into changing the gears/comming off the clutch while i change not happen in ages tho touch wood.....

It left no swirl marks whatsoever....i waxed it yesterday used that meguires carbuna wax decent stuff. i used g7 under the handles there was shit loads of fingernail scratches under them (have a look when you get in your car i bet theres loads) there was this area too, ill take a pic of it now when i got out tomorrow still there but not as noticable. There was a big gash in the bumper where the nooobs just touched it up i sanded it down an resprayed it looks barley noticable not as shiney and theres a tad bit of overspray of laqure but im happy with it. @ matty just try it, 1st just feel the scratches if they are deeper than the clear coat therse no point trying as i think the way it works is by slowly taking the clear coat of paint away then the actual paint (if it goes horribly wrong) most of my scratches were only clear coat ones so i was able to remove them easily. i did it by hand i wouldnt recomend using a buffer as you can do loads of damage. apply it spray mist of water and rub away with a buffer pad thing making sure you keep a close eye on whats going on and contaminants. wash off and redo or wax it (wax is a must as you have took part of the paint work off so it needs "protecting")

Its really nice, engine bay is ubes, loving the pic of its nostril shot and the paint is spotless. is it sat on 16"`s? the thread looks really meaty on its shoes........what are your future plans for her?

Well theres the yaris.......shite only the jap version is worth having, french assembled one is a plastic toy aygo.....looks ugly (my opinion) the new iq thing looks fun the sporty versions of the corolla look cool.......i think they dont apeal to us because we know we cant get insured on them as they are new etc

i`ve had a quick look on TOC and they all seem to be men at the age of like 40 talking about lowering there cars.......

Since ive joined up no1 has ever mentioned of changing one....when do toyota recomend they are changed? mine looks all shiney but i dont know when it was changed. also the car shakes ever so slightly every now and then with the beat of the engine when left idling..... Thanks FTM

Got a bottle of g3 compund today.....with cloth in hand and heart in mouth i went for it. all i can say it`s fuoooooooking amazing stuff! my paint work looks ubes can only really see the scratches upon close inspection that being due to that fact that i did it by hand and couldn`t get deep enough. one-two more area i would like to do then wash it (finally got a wash mit) and polish/wax it anyone recomend one? whats the diffrence between polish and wax?

Do any of you have the light on the dash indicating the door/tailgate or whatever is open? i dont seem to have one even tho it has the push sensor things on the front two doors (not checked the rear). I only noticed it today

As for the alloys, shop around after you have a style in mind? size? price you would like to pay?.....tbh they look BIG on the car i`d go down to 15`s. as for the gaiter mabe line the inside of it with tape or something to stiffen the material up abit?.....im pretty sure some1 else has one on here made from some ebay guy.....can`t wait to get my filter etc fitted!!

This is just a guess but One of the calipers could be seized thus giving uneven braking? brakes need bleeding? something wrong with the balancing of the front 2 tyres (causing the weaving)?

i thought the size of the tb is 55mm?????

but will i not get "heat soak".....whereas this will have a cold air feed
