Flashed and waved, at one of you, then realised you'd probably think I was a weirdo given that I was sat in my 530 and not the Starlet.

lol.. Anyone ever been in Cherry's? A group of us did a few years ago, one word, grim. None of us parted with any money other than a single beer which cost a fortune, but I suspect that's because the madame realised non of her girls were getting money out of us. A few will take the hour trip to Cologne and visit Pascha.. As for actual nightlife, I always just enjoy drinking the local beer with the friends I'm over there with, or others in the guesthouse you're staying in. You have to remember that the villages that surround the 'ring are largely agricultural, there's not a lot goes on

You need to stop air passing between the top of the splitter and bottom of your bumper for it to do anything.. >https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HXxkNF2L__8

Basically, most will work, it's just a bitch of a job to do. Starting with removing the sump, to the cleaning of the two surfaces, to refitting. It's horrible, especially if you're laid under the car doing it on axle stands.

I've tried all sorts, it still leaks!!

It needs impact to knock it free, fit the wheel back onto the boss and give it a few love taps, doesn't even need to be from behind.

Interested in TD04 manifold and normal downpipe if you'd split?

I was thinking more along the lines of finding out if the car has current MOT, Insurance and TAX, I think that's free information but would need to check. It's not clear how to add a car, I assume I'd need to register to do so?

Do the DVLA or Government have a Vehicle Enquiry api? Use that.

Def, keep me updated always looking for folk to attend trackdays with! Sheffield based so not a million miles away from a few decent tracks!

Just had a quick look through TSL for last years track day trophy, my friend with a Mini Cooper S (150hp per tonne) managed a 1:44 in qualifying which was good enough for second on the grid. eta. I'm a massive geek when it comes to data, here's the timing sheets for Time Attack at Cadwell last year: http://www.tsl-timing.com/file/?f=ATTACK/2014/143270tat.pdf Quickest FWD car was a civic who did a 1:40

Cadwell doesn't have any real sustained high G corners which is where you'd get issues with oil pressure and lack of baffled sump. Snetterton, and Silverstone on the other hand are famed for their long corners. Luffield and Copse at Silverstone, Coram and Riches at Snett. I have a non trap door baffled sump that Dean made for me, about a quarter of the price that I was quoted by some others for a trap door sump. £300 + quid, cheaper to replace an engine should the worst happen which in my experience isn't likely. Decent lap Mike, I'll have to have a look through the footage and see

RobMacs Forged/Sleeved B18 'Going Turbo' Glanza V
TimD replied to Glanza Mac's topic in EP91 Glanza Progress Blogs
Bonnet pins are surely the best and easiest option, I'd also want to look at shielding or re-routing that wiring away from the manifold / turbo.- 983 replies
