I am running a standard EP91 turbo running along with standard boost, decat system stainless backbox. My question is when i change to a better manifold (off someone who does them on here, stainless) will i end up busting pistons?
I had similar symptoms when i carried a service on my Glanza replacing: Oil Oil filter Rotor arm Dizzy cap HT leads Spark plugs. Straight after the service took the motor for a quick spin, revs were going up before the speed & car wasnâ??t moving. Got worried so went home connected the boost solenoid back to how its supposed to be (had it by passed) Reset the ECU & everything is working ok touch wood. Very scary when this happens as the clutch is the culprit.
Och. Saying that they're solid, i've noticed the handles are quite fragile. I also own a Corolla E11 (daily runner) almost felt the handle was goin to snap this morning too. Crazy weather.
Chris they sure do sell kits for the EP range but at an hefty tag: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/HKS-SSQV-BLOW-OFF-DU...id=p3286.c0.m14 Relatively easy to fit as theres plenty of topics on here. If your at the meet i can give you a guide/tips.
Thanks bud Asad - I don't see why you'd have to change the thermostat, i mean is the car cooling ok without overheating? drop of antifreeze shouldnt harm
It's that time of year again unfortunately. Have you topped your coolant tank with antifreeze? If not don't leave it too late as its getting colder by the day, -1 celsius today ;) . Also what brand are you guys using? Halfords stuff or better?
