youre right, they do fit on the early spec ones. its only if you want to be flashy. the inside of the 98 spec cluster is a chromey finish (similar to the headlights and 98 spec side repeaters) they also have the divider panel to seperate the little bubble pieces.

dont tell him to check his bulbs. they are right, thats how it should operate!

mate, if youd have seen mine before my turbo went.... i literally couldnt see out the back, because it was a blue cloud. when the turbo seals go, you really know about it. its silly amount of smokes.
-
if youve got a decat, it will puff mate. unles its like, plumes of smoke, or constantly puffing dont worry about it.

anything is possible, but for the effort and work involved. an extra 50 quid to buy a decent IC that actually works isnt that much of a loss. just buy a black intercooler if you want to stay unseen. alot of diesel turbos have black IC cores and they are cheap as fuck.
-
they need to be wound in mate. any old universal piston winder will work.

ive been asked by a few guys to bring in the 98 spec and the reflet spec rear lights. they update the rear of the car and get rid of those bland flat lights you get on the NAs and the 96 glanzas. if i bring in more sets, they will be cheaper. so all those who messaged me/fancy having some. get your names down and i can get a rough price up. ill guess roughly 100 quid a set for the time being. OR, find out what the stainless is made from 321 grade is fine and wont crack. but most people dont use it, because its moneys. i think the zisco stuff is 321, they also make mild steel ones, could be worth a bash. -

weve managed to come across a few that weve brought over. and ive actually spoken to jam themselves in japan, and they are not making anymore. if we do find any (they are all second hand now) we ALWAYS buy them. i am even considering having some replicas cast up, to our own specs. its just interest dependant. -
Current Civic EG owner but wants to go astray..

ill have to second that. youll never get a glanza/GT handling like a civic that has had some work done. no matter how many roll bars you fit. youll get the starlet gonig faster in straight lines. but in corners it will fall short of what you are used to. so it all boild down to what you want, straight line speed or cornering ability. -
starlets use twin element bulbs. its the sidelights and your brake lights in one.

what handling/braking mods you got? -
you shoudl have chucked a 4efte from a glanza in there. the engine mounts are practically the same!
-
have you just fitted this? have you changed any vac lines recently? the HKS actuators are single port (opposed to the stockers that are twinport) so a leaky vac pipe would usually result in overboosting. have you tried winding the actuator down more? if youve used that " 4 twists" shit to get to 12psi or whatever they say on tgtt. then that isnt gospel. wind it down a few mor spins and see what happens.
-
maybe mikey falls for that shit, but not me ;)
-
why did you get rid of the detomasso, those things are fecking minted! welcome to the site anywho, this is the place to be if youre after starbo information.
