Can you get a sound clip of it ? I doubt its anything bad, probably just venting a small amount of pressure. It wouldnt be anything to do with the turbo because it wouldnt be under boost on idle when the timers ticking down.

If you go to a motor factors they will supply non genuine bearings. Some people wont care, but id rather pay the little extra and have genuine toyota items. Wheel bearings are an ass to change, so get the best quality in the first place. I remember when i had to replace mine, after 3 hours of trying to hammer the old bearing out with no luck, i had to take it to work and use the hydraulic press. 40 tons of pressure later and the bearing was out

Manufacturers have different subframes so, which seats do you have? It'll either be a case of modding youre original runners for use on the new seats, or bolting directly to the floorpan. Unless you have recaros or brides that is, because you can buy the specific subframes for the starlets.

if i was going to sod about chopping and making baseplates for mirrors, id go for some craft square mirrors.. dinky mirrors but they look savage.Specially if you was to get some carbon fibre sheet and cut out some custom plates and rivet them to the bodywork.UBES There nice mirrors though bud, thing is, they look like there all one piece, ie : mirror and baseplate together, so you will have to make a damn tidy job of shaping the plates unless you dont mind a nasty looking overhang when youre inside the car.

Thats good NightSpirit, thats exactly how the guy tinted mine.I suppose thinking about it, it could be quite a challange trying to mould a flat tint film to a window thats not flat with out getting creases in. Wish i could do mine, i tryed 3 times and even though my mate said it looked spot on, i wasnt happy because it had an inch long scratch where it creased a tiny bit.Did my head in so i ripped it off lol.

Its a chance you take with unbranded stuff bud. They might be just as good a quality as cruise items etc.But then again you might find out the hard way if one dies. Id put the extra to it and go with some cruise items bud.At least that way you know 100% youre getting quality springs.

Im assuming youre cutting the rear screen tint into 2 or 3 pieces to get it to mould to screen contours? and using a heat gun to make them more pliable? I personally would rather get a pro to do it, as diy jobs allways look absolute w@nk. theres a technique to tinting, and with all things, if you dont do it day in, day out.. you dont have the skill to make the job look quality. Just my 2pence bud, not saying youre works shabby, id just rather get a pro to come round and do them, and also the tint film you buy off fleabay is uber thin.
