was it a gt advance? or not. If it was, and it had the toms kit on, its a guy i spoke to once too lol he has blondeish hair. If you see a black glanza about with sparco crimson rims with red rims, it'll be my cousin lol

Oh right, well i suppose thats youre best bet on a second hand engine. Also try Fensport. They sell used fte's. Might also be worth asking a few of the traders on here if they have any sitting about.

What was the damage to it?Did it look major? Another starbo might have gone to scrapyard heaven -
g3 is the heavy abrasive compund, if you've tcut you should go straight onto g10 which is a finer ,swirl removing compound. But like i said, dont use tcut, it'll kill the paint on youre car.Only use the g3 to start with followed by a g10. It'll bring the panels up like glass. And you'll never cut the car back by hand, you'll take forever plus you wont get perfect circular motions Have a look on ebay for buffers and mop heads mate, also try machine mart for the actual buffer.Aslo have a look on this site : Bodyshop Warehouse they have some brilliant priced items. good luck bud.

Tcut has to be the most abrasive cutting compound there is to buy.DONT use that bud. you should have used 1500 wet/dry and only used it really on any little imperfections in the paint such as gritt, slight runs etc. Buy a quality buffer with a variable speed setting. The type that look like angle grinders. Also buy 1 solid buffing mop head, and 1 vented buffing mop head. Buy 1 tub/tube of g3 (rough abrasive compound) and 1 tub/tube of g10 (finishing, fine compound) Get a spray bottle ready with some chilled water , you spray the chilled water onto the panels BEFORE you use the compounds, as wi

Theres allways complete working engines with low milage on Ebay bud. be looking at around £400-£500 for a second hand 4efte

Dont bother with the blitz lm. The filter element is metal so it just attracts heat and soaks it up. Go for something like the power enterprise filter. Small enough to fit almost anywhere relocated, cotton type filter and its basically identical to the apexi. Contact Dave Burwash, he should be able to sort you out with one in under 2 weeks. Stay away from the blitz though bud, plus there huge and you have trouble relocating it anywhere if you choose to.

Id have thought you would need the grill to hold the bumper solid, otherwise it would be well flexible..I THINK jam make a different shaped one, its not so honeycombed but it still holds it tight. Dont quote me on that, its just im sure i saw a grill on yahoo one time..
-
The honeycomb grill clips into the slots in the middle of the bumper, then has panel clips that push into the slampanel, the grill also clips in with the push pin things into the holes either side nearest the headlights bud.

Have a look in our HOW TO section, and look for my how to remove the boost restriction,Double check that the pipes are swapped identically to how it states in my guide bud. You dont want to hit fuel cut often, its a quick way to damage youre engine. You wont make any difference from changing the oil and playing with the spark plugs/dizzy unless the engines miss firing.Which its not. If it idles fine, and drives fine untill it boosts up, then its a fuel cut issue. The cold air has probably made the boost creep slightly to fuel cut level. Best thing to do to youre engine before anything else ,
-
What you've just described, sounds very much like fuel cut. Allthough its strange that its hitting fuel cut with just an exhaust system. Are you running an induction filter? Also do you have a boost gauge fitted? If so, watch the gauge carefully and if its boosting over 0.7bar, it'll definately be fuel cut. Fuel cut is in place to stop you from overboosting and damaging the engine. Best bet is to fit a boost gauge to check the boost and let us know. The boost might be creeping up slightly due to cold weather.

You tighten the adjusting screw to only let the valve open under harsh throttle letoff Loosen the adjusting screw so the valve opens easier under less pressure.. Ive got mine tightened almost all the way so it only dumps when youre giving it some, and not everytime you let off driving gently around town..Just get funny looks and it sounds chav Wont really need to oil it, its aluminium so it wont rust, but may corrode a tad, if so just give it a light spray of wd40 to release it a tad. bo

it is the right pipe, you need to use the large take off on the efi pipe and block the smaller hole up with a bung or something.
-
It hits the set limit and the ecu cuts all fuel supply off suddenly and it may ignite in the exhaust.Might look good but youre engines feeling it. best to set the boost just lower the limit untill you get management etc sorted.

You should have a little white sticker on the inside of the flap that you pull down, maybe it fell off ? I dont have time to take a pic of mine atm, but maybe someone else can for him??

Nice to see my old skirts on youre starbo laura , looks mighty fine with them on Keep up the good work girl.

You wouldnt notice the difference in spooling time between a std ct9 and a hybrid, no matter how savage it is. Only really start noticing lag with larger housed turbos such as the k series, td's etc. You can get ebc's with rpm set boost settings but you wont really need it on a hybrid ct9

Makes 2 of us, so if anybody knows feel free ;) Theres allways JAM kits around but no bloody spoilers... Any companys make replicas or anything ?
-
thats what you call fuel cut, my freind. Dont want to hit the fuel cut too many times, either run a fcd or bcc along with appropriate fuelling mods or upgrade the ecu because most have a fuel cut remover option.

If its a PFC F-CON you dont get them mapped as such, its a dial adjustment inside the unit on the board. If its a F-CON SV etc then you'll have to find a HKS Power Writer. There the only mappers that have the HKS tuning software.

As the title says guys,Any of you know where i can hunt the JAM spoiler down? And are they fiberglass grp or plastic like the orginal ? Muchos thanks

Mine came with a gay sony double din headunit. Only thing good about it was the mental equalizer..Tho i yanked it out in place for a single din JVC a/v headunit and the little coin cubby hole thing
