Oops i didnt see youre efi pipe off in that picture of the crap youre dumping My bad. Its going to be interesting to see what power you can get out of youre hybrid, as im doing the same with my turbo dynamics hybrid.. By all accounts mines rated upto 250 and 1.4bar which would be awesome with no lag. Only time will tell though, i still havent decided on my new ecu after dumping the hks pfc fcon. What are you running? a jam system? I need a set of 330's so if you find any for sale Enzo gimme a shout -
2bar.. would be.. pretty.. scary What ecu are you going to run with it and whos mapping it bud?

Gonna use my favourite word of the month now... prepare ya self.. GAY wheels.. Thats all Sort that rear foglight out, looks like its popping out of the bumper holder. Looks spankingly clean other than that... brings back memorys of mine *wipes a tear from my eye* Craig

Sounds pretty savage.Even hybrid ct9's usually run out of guts at the top end. Seeing as youve dumped the shite ass aircon now, why dont you relocate the air filter straight off the turbo and dump that ridiculous efi S bend. Its just going to be heating the allready hot air up by sucking the warm shiz from the back of the engine bay then grilling it on the manifold bud. What injectors you going to run with that hybrid too? 330's ? Im not a fan of big wheels on starlets, but i have to admit that youres does look pretty sexual I was thinking of stepping up to 16" just merely to bring the jam -
Not quite a starlet..But i was bored

Cheers bud Do you know anywhere i can find high res pictures of a standard ep82 or 91 ? Ive hunted high and low on google and nothing -
It should fit bud, but dont quote me on that as ive never tryed it. Theres plenty of options out there for you and youre 4efe.Obviously bang for buck, it would work out easier and cheaper to carry out an fte conversion... Allthough if you was seriously after finding out how much you can get from a 4efe, you could carry out head work, throttle body work etc such as port and polishing and machining.. Think about cams and compression..Then later on down the line you can allways just convert youre block to run turbo compression, but you would have all the headwork sorted. If it were me, id attem
-
It will probably lean it out out a tad, the more air intake mods you have carryed out , the more fuel you'll need to keep it at the perfect af ratio. Allthough saying that, an induction filter wont make much of a difference.Generally its items such as larger flowing turbos pushing more air. Id have thought the only main thing that would make you want to adjust the fuelling on the n/a would be if you were to change te compression and add some cams, throttle bodys etc. Id love to see somebody fit some throttleys on a efe Then give it a kick up the ass with some nitrous

Mines taking the piss and im running mine in with a ct9 hybrid I feel for you bud. Allthough thats going to be S A V A G E when you get her boosting.. Anybody for a slice of armageddon? What kinda power are you realisticly looking for Rick? And what rough boost are you going to be running her @? Craig.
-
Oh right, how comes you need to alter the fuelling on the n/a bud? whats youre plans? Most tuners will be able to set the safc's up.There dead easy to use. Is it the original black plastic retro lookin stylee safc? or an safc II or neo type ?

Mine doesnt lock with the timer running. Its because the ignitions still live. I need a different alarm system because mine is driving me crazy anyway. Slightest but of wind or heavy rain droplets and the feckin thing sets off..Immense fun for the neighbours on a windy morning at 3am They loves it.yes they do
-
Yes they do work bud. Lots of people are running them for hybrids or td conversions. Just get somebody to set it up on some rollers for you.
-
I didnt mean 5 seconds , i meant something like half a minute. Tbh if youre driving it off boost you wont have to let it idle and cool. Otherwise every car with a turbo would have a timer installed to stop damage I leave my timer set at 2mins which is plenty for after a harsh drive, and if im driving off boost ill turn the timer/engine straight off as soon as ive put all my crap away in the glovebox and found my phone and keys ;)

hahahahah modified medway boya. Yeah i signed up to that to see what the fuss was about, biggest pile of .... i shouldnt schlag other sites off, but 9/10 of the members work in halfords... Well.. that pretty much sums it up. Gaz hit the nail on the head, they "evolved" if thats what you can call it, from smokin tyrezzz brapbrap fo da shiz *turns me neons on* I went out with my cousin last nite to get some photos and we spotted a modded medway badbwoi eyeing us up..he was either gay or liked the starbo..one of the two.

When it boosts up, the revs will rise with out actually making the car pull. Then the revs will drop down when the clutch grips. No wheel spin, because the clutch isnt gripping to allow them to spin.

Welcome to UKSC Brian. No doubt you'll love driving the ep91, there immense fun. Hope to see some pictures of it fired up when you pick it up  Enjoy your stay bud. Craig

Check out this post for a diagnostics check, bridge the 2 pins with a bend hair clip or something.. What you described does however sound like fuel cut. What exactly is youre "normal" boost pressure bud? The engine will still be pulling, but it'll judder heavily and maybe pop an odd flame and bang. Its only where its suddenly dumping fuel and igniting it. Post up youre speclist and the boost pressure youre running @. -
Yeah bud, Leave it running longer the harsher you drive. If youre just gently poodling off boost just leave it a few seconds then shut it off. If just say, youve hammered it down a drag strip for instance, you want to leave it running for a minute or so to let the oil circulate and cool. Otherwise you may end up with a damaged turbo and generally just decrease the life of it
-
I can understand you having to leave early bud, but everybody else must have left too  They must have known we was comming
-
Yeah we went on the a2 thinking it might be open again then found out we had to detour through gravesend..Along with the rest of the A2 traffic  Took 40 mins to get from bluewater to rochester
-
Mass munchies syndrome? Well i met a few of the last few people there so was worth it.
-
People seemed to leave quite early? I got there at about half 8 and it was dead how long did it take you to get home?
-
Thats one damn nice lookin V
