de restricting boost cut in 1st gear
Glanza_Ragger replied to natural born nutter's topic in 4E-FTE Engine Discussions
If it shot to 1bar mate, thats past fuel cut anyway. Fuel cuts generally around 0.8-0.9bar. A specs list would help.. Craig. -
An uprated tmic or fmic will allways help.As well losing the efi pipe that runs over the top of the manifold, heating the air intake nicely

Im only assuming, but because its comming from underneath the dizzy cap, maybe the o-ring has gone in it? Seems to be a bit of oil on the head seal too, the little part that sticks out at the front with 4e stamped on it.The heads not leaking because theres no trace of mixture with oil/water.. Grr

There seems to occasionally be oil on the gearbox housing directly underneath the dizzy. Its baffling me as to where its comming from, if i wipe the oil off the gearbox and let it idle for 10mins there is not even a drip in sight. When i hop in and take it for a drive, pull up and check again theres oil leaking down the top of the gearbox, comming from the righthand side of the head somewhere.. Dont know if you can see where i mean in the picture, ill get a picture tomorrow of the leaking area properly tomorrow in the light. You cant even notice the oil level drop, its that small of a leak.. I

I love asking the gimps in halfrauds things... If youre actually after a sensible answer, and not an "if its not on the shelf we dont have one" kinda answer...Forget it. Useless shits in there -
I have to agree, tc 2's are like THE classic advan rim!

The fse valves are alot higher quality than shitters like SARD make! The valve jams open in them, uber shite. Nothing wrong with the fse's

Did you know you get get a ceramic coating paint for manifolds etc, because its ceramic coating itll keep the heat from escaping..And you can also polish it up like metal when the paints dry so it comes

Spot on Rick, ive had it off before but that was when i had the engine out just after i bought the car which was like, getting on 3 years back I had a quick glance saturday at how easy it would be to access it and it looks a wee tight.. If it doesnt come off, ill introduce it to my hammer! Cheers bud, ill get onto Toby about exchanging mine... Do you know the number of the alternator lads by any chance? As in does any other car share the same type? Im just wondering incase Toby doesnt reply because i msg'd him a few times a few months back and he hasnt replyed... Craig.

The IMG tags wont work if you copy it direct from the photobucket site. You have to make the topic on here, then click the add picture button, above where you edit the text on here... Then copy the DIRECT LINK address from underneath the picture on photobucket, and paste it into the add picture bar on here...

Hes got a few more things to come so keep an eye on here Craig. -

lolz you must have been lookin pretty well to spot that scoop. Its not functional nope. He bought it from County Cars in strood, Which is just round the corner from me..With it allready fitted. Weve had a look at ripping it off but the goon before him has bonded it to the roof. Its on his things to do list, as it looks like he would need the roof panel painted after removing it.So he's left it on there for now Phil -

When hes not looking one day, ill switch my rotas with his advans, jus paint the rim red with a brush ;) He'll be on here to have a look tomorrow night probably, he asked me to upload them via my photobucket 'because i dont think he has one yet. Its literally immaculate. Wish mine was ;) -
You'll not regret buying a road runner manifold Rich, Best cash id ever spent on mine. After countless stainless items cracking! I personally like that rocker cover colour.Looks different. The boost dropping off is definately youre oem actuator. They cant hold boost what so ever, id tell anybody to change theres to an adjustable first and foremost before other modifications. Keep up the good work dude. Craig
