  1. if they are from a shogun are they not diesel turbo's? Does that matter?
  2. Alot of those places on ebay don't recommend using the hose for continuous flow of oil but if it's stated that it does it should be fine. I bought mine from this place, http://www.sfsperformance.co.uk/reducing_elbows.asp#ninety They do ones suited for oil but I can't find them on the website so maybe best to phone. Only reason I would recommend them is mine took two weeks to get to me and the boy was an unhelpful little wanker but worth a bash if your stuck. Iirc the reducer you need is 19mm-16mm??
  3. Trust me, The paint on the mild steel one will be gone in a cloud of smoke in around 30 seconds Someone posted how to get it to stay on, need to bake it on by starting your car for about 10 seconds, letting it cool right down, heat up a bit more, let it cool right down about 50 times â?¦ fuck that ;)
  4. They are heavy but seem well made. Though looking at the mile steel ones now, it looks like they have changed the design slightly. Mine fitted with no problems but take note on what was mentioned with the gaskets, mine wasn't supplied with any thankfully haha

    daniel domino!

What a wanker! Surely if he fucks people about on eBay that won't last long cause his feedback will be fucked!? Cheeky cnut!!
  6. Was round at Mark@CMB's the other day and there was a block sitting absolutely destroyed, young lad running circa .8bar on a standard manifold, flat out in 5th so probably creeping a bit too. Bang, mass destruction! I wouldnt have a problem running one if it was ported but not with that massive restriction in the runner!
  7. I'll be there! Staying in Dunfermline tonight to be there bright and early. It's knockhill, wouldnt be surprised if it snowed!
  8. Right then, got my gauges all installed and wired up, haven't started it yet but with the ignition on once the opening ceremony is complete my oil pressure gauge is flashing red and beeping at me, any ideas????
  9. You got pics of the bracket you made or is it in your build thread? I'm using the ct9 hks actuator with the ct9 bracket and I see the plus side of .7 bar with my boost controller off
  10. That will be the problem then, I haven't wired in the senders! Was just checkin if the daisy chain worked. Thanks alot for the explanation taggy, I got instructions with mine so know most of the wiring! Have you mounted yours on the dash? If so what have you done with the wires!?
  11. Did you ever get this sorted? Just wired mine up and they are the same!? I see yours are White, did you wire the White and the live to the same live?
  12. I'd say it's the turbo, my ct9 sounded the same
  13. Haha yeah feel free to head along, not sure on location yet actually!
  14. Mark@CMB, Chris Stewart and myself were thinking about meeting up tomorrow night (Friday) in town just for general banter, shoot some shit and deev Mark with many unanswered questions we may have on cars, women and life but mainly cars probably! :haha: Just seeing if anyone else fancied it!?
  15. X2, you seen how quiet the last thread went when paying for the rr was mentioned I say somewhere closer to Dundee for people in Aberdeen and further north!
  16. Quality stuff there spuddy, good to see a build thread on such a high specced/powered starlet for once instead of top secret stuff
  17. What's on the morn? If it was closer I'd probably go but can't be assed!
  18. You are too funny you cunt! Being a tosser actually helped build my hand back to strength and helped me become as ambidextrous as I am now!
  19. You weren't fighting for this bird were you? I've had a boxers fracture twice (the momentum was there, the technique wasn't!) The second time I had to have my hand in plaster cause I made a pretty good job, but mine took a full 6 weeks until it felt well enough to get back to work. I was a slater at the time and couldn't use a hammer for a fair while cause it felt like my bone was going to break again! Still get trouble from it when it's cold!
  20. There was a guy on here or tgtt ran a td04@1.4 on standard internals and an emb and made awesome power. Your choice if you use the emb or upgrade. Still liking the wheels? The motion pic in your sig looks ace!
  21. I screwed mine to circa 3.2 bar and it fuels well on the wideband but definately get it checked. At 2.4 bar it idles pretty lean but not sure how it is when driving
  22. Ah yeah, see what you mean. Have you tried the seat in the car with the evo rails bolted on? I meant to try it with mine cause they didn't look like they would be far off. Probably your best bet is to modify them!
  23. Pretty much as you are saying, get longer bars made the right length with holes in them, weld them where they need to go then whip the old ones off if they are in the way. My recaro rails are the same but with longer bars as described, if I've got pics of them on my computer I'll stick one up for you tomorrow if my Internet is playing ball!
  24. Think the place stopped making the mild steel ones for a while, though that might not be his reason! As brad said, tuning developments do the td04 gaskets at a decent price
