Water in the dizzy can cause the missfire... Just keep driving and mine cleared up when the heat evaporated the water (this was when i first got my car btw) Make sure there is no water in any major connections!

Cheers Babe x The FIesta and Puma are the same car underneath... Bit like a Corsa B and a Tigra.... You need from the Puma: Engine, Ancilliries, ECU, Bay Loom, Key, MAF, Fuel Lines, Throttle Cable and Airbox Very Easy to do. Plug n Play with interior loom! They are 125bhp stock... 135bhp can be seen with a full exhaust system. Cams, Inlet & Map would see you to 155-160bhp like my old Fiesta was before I got Glanza... As with any NA tuning tho, big money for minimal gains! Sound ace tho! Yeh as we have to take it all out the Puma first Grant... Then im gonna inspect the clutch, cambelt. THen take the 1.4 out the fiesta, clean the engine bay, then put the puma engine back in the Fiesta... lol I dont rush things, gonna take my time, enjoy it, get it perfect! But yes in past ive changed a Fiesta engine in a day... 1.25>1.25 and 1.6>1.7

Aye, me and 'aaddzz123' aint new to the fiesta/puma engine change. Dead easy! They go well for the £££... My mk4 is right on the crossover date. Its basically with a mk5 tbh just with a mk4 front lights... lol Mate. Cossie rims are £500+ This is a daily lol... Ride like shit too... Steels r ace and... Its amazing what you can buy for fuck all these days: and its beating heart: 1.7 16v 125bhp... Would mean I dont have to thrash the shit out of the 1.4 engine to get anywhere... So theres a job for this weekend then!

My Targets Are: Modernise It - Make it stop, accelerate, handle like a modern car as best I can.. It stops better then the Glanza tbh, the brakes are unreal... Modified Look - I want it to stand out a little from the crowd, not OTT tho... Plenty of Toys - Ive got pretty much every optional extra for this era of fiesta now with the exception of a couple I believe... On a Budget - The car stands me at fuck all and the changes Ive made havent cost ought really! Forgot to mention went straight through an MOT on Friday... Only advisory was blowing exhaust, which had 5 holes in it... Which I obv changed for the SS Piper System! Cheers Phil! to be honest... Piper 4-2-1 Manifold, Coilovers (not set daft low, stock shocks r fucked), 1.7 Puma Engine (go straight in), Fit Snoopy kit and get a bit of paintwork touched up and ill leave her be then!

Havent updated this in ages, sorry folks, been enjoying the Starlet haha... So heres a update! Got all my sound deadening laid under the carpet, just havent put the plastic outer trims back in yet... Ive put two thick layers in and its sooo quite! Cant hear the engine at idle and at 40mph you can only just hear the tyre roar! Amazing Feeling! boot is all done, just need to finish the rattle matt, put carpet back in and get some bigger carpet for top layer! also, since the wiring is already there behind the door cards... bought these electric mirrors, in the same colour too haha! Just need the interior trim pieces and switch for them ^^ and lastly, got round to preparing my snoopy kit! Looking ruude Eyeing up some steel wheels too! But more to come people! Got to love Piper's! Then managed to get my hands on some Ford Fusion 15x6J Steel Wheels, which I refurbished and wrapped in Toyo Proxy T1R's! Steel wheels cost me £5, £10 in refurb materials and the Tyres cost me £32 each! Bargain Really! Because they are 15's! This would allow me to do the 300mm Brake Conversion! Mondeo Mk3 Calipers & Carriers Mondeo Mk3 Brake Pads Focus ST170 300mm Discs Bit of shaving was required with a grinder to clear the wheel tho! Running 6mm spacers front and 4mm spacers rear.. So... She stops as good as a much more modern car. Handles like a modern car with slightly bigger wheels and light steel wheels. She looks like this as of today: Excuse the mucky car, weather is poo today! Ive never felt alloy wheels that weigh so little! So on with the sealant! Oooooo shiney! When Ive got them all sealed, Ill get the rubber wrapped around them! I went for function over form with these alloys... 15" wheels are where its for what I need! They will allow me enough arch space for semi slicks that no "16's could ever do!
